Oh I am so sad over this, dammit.
My sincere condolences to SL's family

The creativity and compassion for it shown through in each one of their posts, and was a huge inspiration for me. I will truly miss all of the characters he created along the way.

I had already seen StormiLover's avatar with that Canadian hat but I hadn't yet discovered his thread with these hilarious sketches.
Sure, he was a funny guy.
Thanks to TDF his memory will live on. Every now and then someone will come across this thread, and these stories StormiLover created will put a smile on his face.

Oh my I'm just blown away by this! He was such a cool guy to chat with and meet up with, was hoping to do some real fun stuff this year. Last time he was here we went to Denny's for dinner. Sitting with him back yard the first time with him and his doll and mine was so fun, I knew he was special guy and I will miss his awesome Doll stories and Adventures! Crying big time here, because i think we had the potential to do a bunch of Doll stuff in Alberta. I was planning to go up and visit him this spring and summer, Alas that won't happen now. He was a brilliant story teller!!

I have just learned of this today from Jenny's post in her Dolls Alive! thread. This is very sad news indeed.

While I did not regularly follow StormiLover's hijinks here with Stormi, JR and TBear, whenever I did tune in to their antics and Stormi's adventures traveling across Alberta and the rest of Canada, their stories were always entertaining and just plain fun. He will be dearly missed.

RIP StormiLover.

I just saw this thread about StormiLover's passing. Such sad news. He was a special person here on the forum for sure. Another wonderful doll lover who will be greatly missed.

rip Stormi lover.. your passion for life and adventure and getting beloved Stormi out into the world was a huge inspiration to us.. it's a dream of mine to travel like that with my loves.. this is a dark day for Canada and the world

as heartbreaking as it is, I'm glad somebody reached out to let us know instead of him just disappearing off the forum. I hope Stormi found a home

On June 3 I drove up to PeaceRiver 450km to meet with SL's son, we had lunch and chatted for a while. Then we went to SL place and Loaded up Stormi and most of her stuff that i could fir into the Kia Rondo. His son is a awesome guy too:-) Itwas a hot days so bringing dow her and stuff 4 stories was tough on both of us me more so, Kudos to his son for helps big time.
Driving back was great and strange with Stormi looking out the window of the car. Stormi is no safe at KarmaMusics place, with the hope that we will see more of her in the near future.

Very touching; so glad SL has folks who loved him enough to help keep his legacy going. Much thanks to you KM for taking us along on this mission. Hope his son got some comfort knowing his father had made such deep connections. Hope to see Stormi doing better; she looks a little overwhelmed.

KarmaMusic, many thanks for making the long drive and picking up Stormi from SL's place and also meeting SL's lovely son.

I think that SL will be happy that Stormi and her gang are going to live with close friends who will look after them and love them.
It's also wonderful that Stormi gets to stay in beautiful Alberta, SL will definitely approve of that.

Hopefully we can continue to see pictures of Stormi every now and again.

I'm really hoping that the original TBear and JR can make the long trip over to the UK and join my gang, as long as we can work out the logistics of getting them here.

I want to be able to let TBear and JR continue their adventures and schenanigans in memory of SL.
Fingers crossed that this works out.

Once again, many thanks KarmaMusic for taking the time and trouble to pick up Stormi, we all really appreciate it.

Well done KarmaMusic, this is a tremendous gesture on your part to travel so far to collect Stormi and her chums. Losing SL is a huge wrench and I'm still trying to get my brain around the fact but it's a comfort to know that at least Stormi gets to go to a new home and continue her adventures while JR and T Bear will begin their own adventure traveling across the Atlantic to djcdoll. I have to say that these pics gave me a lump in my throat, so poignant.
