Great tips from the original poster! These are definitely some things I wish the manufacturers would put into those guides they include with the dolls.

These are good tips to know about! I have not thought of the washing hands before use but can see how that would be helpful in maintaining the dolls health.

This is super-helpful . . . thank you so much. My first doll arrives tomorrow, and despite the wealth of information out there on care and maintenance, most of it seems to be entirely focused on one aspect, or a bit too superficial to be useful.

Thanks for the tips. I've been using baby oil and baby powder for my TPE doll and it does pretty good. How often should they be cleaned? I clean play areas regularly after sessions, but not sure how often to do full doll cleanings.
