When you order your doll choose sea shipping because it's cheaper and you won't need to pay VAT. I had to pay 800eur in VAT.

I technically couldn't afford the doll either so I paid with PayPal instalment payments, they have this option on the Spartan website.

The doll is heavy so you have to use a office chair with wheels to move him around. (40kg)

I too use a translation app.

The grammar of Western languages and Japanese is quite different, so I often end up with strange sentences even when I use DeepL Translate, which is said to have high translation accuracy.
