Teddy Babe stand

Hi everyone,

I made a stand for my Teddy Babe out of a wood corner shelf, a garden bib tap wall plate and the handle from an adjustable squeegee broom. Wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions to add to it - I can almost make her stand on it but I'd have to insert the pole into one of her holes to do it

Can anyone here suggest parts or methods of making her stand? I'm thinking something to go under her crotch and a way to hold her, preferably without going under the arms as I read here this damages the joints. Thanks!

Maybe put a belt through the hole in the handle and tighten it around her body? You can hide it under her clothes.

I tried a strap used for packaging but didn't hold her up very well. I'll try find a small leather belt to see if it's any better.
