The best results for compositing come when one matches the exact light on the model that is represented in the composite image... For example...If there is a window with light in the composite image, I will photo my doll in a window...That way the hair (always the hardest part) stays isolated in the window and does not have to be layer masked...Uhg... Yawn. Are you falling asleep??? Lol! Sorry!
Love to hear the technical details, (even if I cannot reproduce them...), as your photography is something else!
Hey Stocking. Thanks so much for dropping of some love... Im trying to get to some of those technical photos soon...PM me if you have specific questions...

Far from it ("falling asleep"). I'm an amateur photographer myself (although, I'm not sure the pictures I take would qualify me for the word "photographer" but certainly to "amateur".). So, please hit me with technical. I was specifically talking about some of Ashley's pictures that had a background image. That was done without a green screen?

I'm working on my photography skills, especially for the girls. I'm improving slowly. I have a studio upstairs with a green wall and three LED lights (actually, a little more than three, and they are all 5,000K with CRI>95). My biggest problem right now is that since Emily broke her hip joint, she can't stand, making pictures a bit challenging...
Ouch! Thats awful... How on earth did that happen??? Or maybe I should not ask... Keep up the good works. Find photographers that you like...Maybe they do tutorials on youtube...Great source...
KKFun wrote: Sun May 12, 2024 1:55 pm Raven is certainly a playboy centerfold material and beyond. Very nice photo, simple yet as good as it can get. Love it.

Hi AH, yes, Brigitte, the other girls and I are fine. You are so right, it´s a mind set, but a matter of feelings too, and Gwynyd as a painter is giving me warm feelings of adoration and affection. :)

So much to say, so little time. First off, congrats on the Coverdoll spread. The images are breathtaking. Second, Ashley is incredible. The Zelex SLE line is special and you make her that much more enticing with your craft.

I could spend lots of time on this last point, but thank you for using your Coverdoll space to explain your position on AI integration. I tried and failed badly to do that here recently. Your stature in the doll photography world and statement in support makes me feel like I can reopen that door again. Very much appreciated, very much inspiring.

WOW! A portrait of a doll painting a self-portrait. This one is really special. :glou: 8O 8O
Sandy isn’t tall (155 cm) but she has a big personality and towers over her 1/6 scale sisters. None of them will ever admit they are dolls.
For more photos of Sandy and her sisters check out their thread: "Sandy's Enchanting World" in the Eye Candy forum.<viewtopic.php?t=154188>

Well Thank You Sir! It was a lot of heart and soul that went into these...Alotta time too. All the images we done over a two to three month period...
That was the fun of it...As each image was created, during my days, new ideas would pop into my head for additional elements. I'd come home and add a toilet or a man or car into the piece to make it more legitimate.
So much to learn and ways to grow in this hobby... I know you are having fun doing so also...

Awl! Thanks Chris! Gwynyd sure likes to move the paint around that canvas...

Haha! Thanks Well... The background was composited from many different photos I took...As this image evolved, it would take shape by adding things to it one thing at a time.
My job as composite artist is always to get the light and the angle right for fitting into the perspective... I appreciate your love here Well!
