Ruby 13 neck bolt system 2009 is problematic Need Help

Hi

Does anyone own an older Ruby 13 and know a simple way to keep the neck from popping out? I have tried to place a paper towel in and it just makes it easier to slide off. The lower portion just keeps coming loose from the bottom of the neck on the body. The too part sits secured under the head but the lower keeps separating from the body. It is driving nuts when I am playing with my ruby13 and the head falls off.

You need something that will grip like a piece of rubber from a bike inner tube.

ETA: Or you may try to stipple the ball.
