Question before I buy the 155cm "Barbie", from a Newbie

Post by chicagodoc »

Just joined this forum; amazing to see so many people with a similar interest or curiosity! Have been researching, and plan to buy one of the WM 155 dolls with the "extreme hourglass" figure ("Barbie" type) sold by several of the vendors, in late Spring. Here's my Q: should I get the vaginal insert, or fixed vagina? If I was to keep the doll long-term, I'd probably get the insert for easy cleaning; however due to family circumstances (yes, the family will be away for a month over the summer, and why can't dad have some fun as well along with working...?) I will keep the doll only a month, then sell it (probably on this site). So my plan was to either get the insert, or since some seem to advocate a better "feel" especially for those of us who are, well, largely endowed.. get the fixed vagina, and just use condoms exclusively (so more saleable). I'm leaning toward the latter - just use condoms, and get the fixed.

Opinions please? Very much appreciated!

Well I don't yet own a doll (though I also am probably going to get the WM155 doll like you) so I can't say anything about the "feel" of the options but it would only make sense that a doll with a replaceable insert would give a higher return in money.

This is the internet, you can tell people all day long that you only ever used a condom, not many will believe this.

Insert all the way.

Easier clean up (you dong have to take the entire doll to the bathroom), replaceable, and above all else, removable which means if you find it too tight you can use a different one, or none at all if you're that big.

Built in means a more involved clean up, even with condoms, as you still have to use lube, and you are stuck with 1 option in terms of the size of the opening.

Hi!

And WELCOME!

But you'll soon discover that she's alive and she's a she, not an it.

You'll certainly have a month of fun with her. And the standing option will bring her to life. You'd better treat her well. She is the queen . . .

Welcome to TDF chicagodoc.
How'd you get passed me? Someone must have moved your post from one topic to this one. Well, welcome regardless. :)

Additional insert info for you: http://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtopi ... 57#p763457
Some of this you could apply to most doll companions with inserts.

Like Karrot said: Insert all the way. I have one, about 5 months old. She is holding up well.

I am not producing this doll and it is being selled by "competition" ;) But I know these dolls and I would like to give you my opinion so you could make the best choice... First of all take the insert... It looks the same and it's easier to clean... Also if something happens you can just change the vagina instead of making an repair... Also it's harder to sell a doll with a fixed vagina.

If you are buying a used doll from a newbie - it is already configured. Are you really asking what is it's resale value once you have had your month of fun?

Sorry just had to clarify a foggy goggle situation.

I believe the OP - chicagodoc - meant “Question (from a Newbie) before I buy the 155cm Barbie". :P

Yes def getting a new one; now convinced I guess that insert is way to go. I just wonder if the fixed is a bit more comfortable in terms of being "wider?"

The standard insert is 1.5 cm. It is quite small. However, it does stretch a lot. There is also a 2.0 and 2.5 cm (1") insert. Not sure what size the built-in is since I don't have one. Another advantage of an insert is being able to change size.

Begog,
Thanks for those details. Does WM make those various size inserts? I don't see the on their site, nor offered on resellers' sites as options, either... Thanks for help; will need the 1" size.

Yes. WM makes them, but I am having trouble getting mine. Still waiting. The first ones they sent were the 1.5cm (1/2") size. My old one is twice that size now because I have been turning it inside out after use. This has also elongated it a bit, making it harder to install. However, I snipped off about a 1/2", and cured that problem. It is still about as long as it originally was, but much more roomy and comfortable now.
