Tom and Steve : Out and Proud

We have come out as 'lovers' to our family and friends and many of them warmly embraced us and our lifestyle.

To commemorate this I am delaying my Chronicles Chapters to make way for the posts about our coming out process.
Chronicles chapters will be reposted after that in instalments with obvious time lag ( there are a few pre-Christmas chapters yet to be posted ).
In future, in between the chapters, photos and snip-bits about Tom and me will be posted in this same thread.

Thanks Ranger. Yes, they pulled the trick on me. The whole day I was pulling tricks on my friends in UK and overseas by calling them and pretending on the phone as Tom my boy friend, making as deep voice as possible. In the end the trick came back to me. It was fun. Tom and myself were glad that we made our friends happy with laughter on Christmas day !

Thanks Mavi, they are party trick-candles and are pretty cheap to buy.

One, Two, Three : Coming Out Free

Tom and Steve came out as adult doll and human lovers to their family and friends in December, 2018 by sending to them by email three separate posts, each one week apart.

Many thanks Ranger, for your compliments. Sorry about the late reply for I was in hospital for surgery. Got home yesterday evening.
I will check if I can enter the mini photo contest.
In the meantime, here is my short hospital experience for you.

In Recovery

Before injecting the anaesthetic into my vein the anaesthetist said, 'Imagine a beautiful place where you want to go on holidays.' I imagined the scene where Buddha sat underneath a huge Bodi tree under the full moon, surrounded by jungle animals and birds, all living in harmony, with a lake full of lotuses. The next moment I saw an attractive woman looking down at me asking, 'Steve, are you okay?' I realised that I had woken up from anaesthesia. I smiled at her and nodded my head. She continued, 'Your operation has been done. You are in recovery room. I am Wendy, the nurse who is looking after you.' I said, 'Thank you, Wendy. You are beautiful.' Smiling, she replied, 'Steve, you had too much anaesthesia.' She then said, 'I was in haematology department as treatment room staff when you were having chemotherapy for lymphoma.' I said, 'Wow ! You still remember me after more than ten years.' She replied, 'When I saw you earlier I said to myself I knew that man.' I said, 'What a coincidence! You looked after me then and now you are looking after me again.' She replied, 'Yes, a very special coincidence.' I said to her, 'Now that I know your name, I clearly remember that you were the most beautiful nurse in the haematology treatment room.' She said, 'You are charming. Are you married? Do you have a family.' I replied, 'No. I am gay.' She said, 'That's alright.' I added, 'I have a boyfriend but he is a doll.' She said, 'That's good. They don't answer back.' She told me how she had changed jobs to avoid hectic shifts, how her husband was diagnosed with diabetes after being discovered in coma by her, how he was currently being treated etc. When Wendy went off to do something another nurse came to stay with me. She was much younger with red hair. I looked at her and said, 'You are beautiful.' She replied, 'I am trying not to blush.' She asked me when I came to England. I replied that this year's Valentine's Day would be my 30th anniversary of arriving in England, adding that I wandered off to Ireland and New York before settling back here in 1998. She asked me if I liked England and I told her that I fell in love with the country as a high school student when my English teacher told me about her life in England. She asked me why I left my country. I said, 'I left because it was then under military regime. I am also gay and I also wanted to train in pathology here.' She asked what gay life was like in my country then. I replied, 'It was 'don't ask-don't tell' situation and I did not like that.' They ordered sandwich for me and made me coffee. I had fasted since last night and was taken to theatre only at bout two pm. It was well after three pm by the time food was brought to me, I was starving and it tasted so delicious. Wendy told me about our previous senior colleague's current poor health, adding that she was an eccentric. I said, 'I am eccentric too.' She agreed that we all were eccentrics in our own ways. I said, 'Because I am an eccentric my boyfriend is a doll.' She asked, 'What breed is your dog?' I realised that she had misheard. I replied, 'I have no dog. I mean that my boyfriend is a doll. He makes no trouble.' She agreed again. The surgeon and the anaesthetist came to talk to me. It took a long time before a bed was available in the ward. I was in no hurry. I prefer the peaceful atmosphere of recovery room to the busy ward. Finally they found a place for me and I was wheeled into my room at the ward.

There I had a late night toast at half past nine. I do not mean a toast of wine. I mean a toast of bread.
