Actually a portrait or prime lens is one the most economic additions to a lens collection.
At least it was for me, my portrait lens I got for my Nikon was just under $300 on sale at Best Buy.

My Sino is real happy Dee's has his camera back in action, and helped me photo a few pics Saturday at my studio. I did more today, and guitars and gals were the theme. This is from that set.

Some great shots Ztar, even with the ones that play naughty on the upload, and Ironically, I was just chatting working angles with Dee's via email.

Mate, you nail that aspect totally, as some great angles and aspects in some of your images.

You can get em from $200 to $2000, the more you spend the better the lens will be, they have different qualities of glass

Well she can also slap bass when needed. She was just a groupie at Dee's band, but told me she secretly plays by herself!

Thanks Anung, I dont always know what the pro angle should be so I just try alot of different things with varying degrees of success. I am also glad Lily was ok with the little she demon.for what its worth:

I can pet him and he would not bite me on purpose, but when its feeding time I don't dare have my hands in the water . That wouldn't end well for me

Sure Ztar mate, Lily is only possessive with the gals I can get at...as only a brave man every looks to spend her "she devil Fux" elsewhere. I did not mind the red either mate...you can always put it down to sunburn, and she was clearly "Horny"

The angles are groovy too, experimentation is the key, some will be pedestrian, but the occasional will have the unintended wow factor. Even the guns behind the lens probably snap 100s for few of those specials.

Men, I shoot a 1000 and get a couple of OK ones

but hey...my talents lay with other types of instruments (ironically I used to be pretty handy behind a scope, but a different application entirely) .

So Mishka...wow a four finger pluck and slapper

Not sure If Dees shared the bass boomers, but yep, I and everything going in those ones on the big LVIA Kraken 15 and Frankenbass Baliset, all over the board, so four finger master hand is a talent for sure on the basses!

So I wish I could share with you guys the magnanimous stuff I am mastering up after the week end jams, there is so much of it....after Imaginearuim showings

But why not...get this into the system, here is one of many..... 36 tracks

(even that bloody hurdy gurdy from my pirate vid gets a track...LOL) all synced to the mS..and sounds phenomenal..I even sing under backing vocal but the gal tracks are just to epic to notice.
