Re: KD Mini Review
I hit a big box store the other day looking for clothes for Leeza & came across this very pretty & sexy medium top Aubrey is modeling: I love the fit & style, of course Aubrey could make a burlap sack look awesome!
I haven't found a bottom anywhere yet, so I may just have to use 1 of her undies (she said "that's fine with me, my Kuschelbar! XOXOXOX...)
She's really way too good to this ole goofball!
Later!

Re: KD Mini Review
I couldn't find anything less than $59.95 USD, so I made 1.
Here's the materials I used:
* 2” x ¾” PVC pipe
* 3 ½” M16 bolt, washer, nut
* 4” PVC cap
* 2 - 6” X 6” X 1/16” felt
* spray paint
* super glue The 1st 1 came out a little rough, so i'll be using
PVC cleaner instead of sanding & 5mm bumpers instead of felt underneath on my next ones.
If anyone wants to know how I did it, or wants me to make them 1, PM me.

Re: KD Mini Review
Here's the 85 on Suzanne's body: I exchanged the eyes & top lashes with a set of Easy Move Eyes & lids from MannequinFan. She's a bit darker than the body, which adds to the realism IMHO (who tans evenly except by lying in a tanning booth). Her flesh feels just as soft as the body.
Now, I have to find out what her name & background is!

Re: KD Mini Review
When I got back to the Lair, she greeted me in the master den: "I love it Wench! You look simply ravishing!"
That put a huge smile on her face
& the wind picked up as if she willed it, pushing me closer to this vision of pure ecstasy. "Mind me asking what's underneath?" looking at the pink covering her amble assets. "WOW babe, you are super sexy!!" I played it cool, although inside I was drooling all over myself like Ted Nugent as I spied her cleavage. "I would love to see you pose for me"

Re: KD Mini Review
I found a teeth & tongues set recently from The Doll Laboratory in France.
https://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtop ... =6&t=88238
I received them today (just a 10 day turnaround, not too bad)
The set isn't 3D printed, but made of resin castings, a solid plastic(?) material. I tried the open teeth set (it has a magnet underneath, behind the teeth) all 8 tongues have a washer underneath) in Suzanne, but didn't like the look. Her throat veers to the left, so the teeth didn't sit right. Once I make some adjustments I'll post a few pics.
Next, I tried just tongues Here's how 3 look:
1st row, left end tongue 2nd row, 2nd from left 1st row, 2nd from left I definitely like how the tongues change her appearance!

Re: KD Mini Review
Suzanne & I had a grand time with that shoot, so much so that we had to cut it very short!!!
I also bought a merkin from Wolek's Famous Moustache Parlour https://www.mustacheparlor.com/ to try out on Aubrey because I've always wanted her to have a hair pie. I tried a few different ways this past year, but nothing worked until the merkin! It only cost $21.99 + shipping, comes in 6 colors, is triangular shaped, has a lace mesh base, & as you can see there is a lot (yes that's an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet, I used maybe 1/4 on her)! I tried using spirit gum 1st, but that didn't take, so I ended up using super glue (sparingly).
I'm really happy with how it came out, Aubrey loves it too!
Gots ta go, I have another experimental purchase I need to try out!

Looks good on her.obie162 wrote:Hey gents, thanks! ... I tried using spirit gum 1st, but that didn't take, so I ended up using super glue (sparingly). ...
I've been doing multiple types of merkins on my dolls, from self made to real merkins to modified parts of other body part wigs. Spirit gum is soft and won't hold well unless the area is well cleaned with alcohol. Even then it does not last long due to the oil that leeches out of the TPE. Super glue can leave hard spots (ouch!) and may come off as the oil again leeches out of the TPE.
A very thin paste made from TPE and 3M 94 primer has been working well for me. The paste bonds the wig mesh to the TPE of the doll. It is soft and flexible and won't come off during playtime. You can check out the tests and results here (viewtopic.php?f=229&t=131728).
Cheers!
