I can't really tell from the photos, but I'm not seeing the same level of visual detail on the skin, i.e veins and such. May be a serious competitor in other ways though, with the skeleton, innovative connected anal/vaginal cavities, etc.

With all these upgrades of the skeleton and such what about the oral cavity?

Does it go straight back or up like other TPE and silicone heads? I like all the upgrades on these dolls but not having a legit oral compatible shouldn't be left out. If I was paying this much for a doll I'd want every little detail and upgrade included but that's just me.

Is this what happened to DS Dolls? The joint manual got me thinking about the resemblance. Then saw the inserts on their website and couldn't imagine who else it'd be.

Hoping they also put out some fuller bodies like the DS167.

Edit: The mission statement on the XY page seems to solidify it with their reference suggesting future robotics. But why the new brand?

Isn't it a completely different company?

Hi. I think this is again down to the shiny nature of silicone (compared to TPE) and the photography. At the price you'd hope that the bodies were very detailed, but that skeleton must go a long way towards accounting for the cost.

Sandro said this in the first post, and based on all the similarities I can't help but think DS Dolls /EX Dolls is related to it.

This is awesome. She is like a Korean race queen. Like an auto show girl!

This is exactly what I'm looking for.

Kinda like this pic. Xycolo is GREAT! Well done Beijing Yuheng Xingyi Technology Co.

That's a good point! At least, if that's the case, the heritage is decent :)

Hi,

today I'd like to take a closer look at the Xycolo's skeleton. Since most manufacturers are more than hesitant to show what's inside their dolls, this level of openness is highly appreciated!

That's the full frame:

Detail of lower body:

Bending forward:

An interesting detail is the nicely shaped foot plate which is relatively large and seems not to have non-deburred edges.

Considering the design of this skeleton, it's safe to assume that not the skeleton will limit the doll's posability. It will be mostly the material surrounding the frame.

Not sure how the knee joints work. It looks like cogwheels which would have to be encapsulated somehow.

Even in the detail photos I could not spot a weld. I appears that nothing on this skeleton is welded, at least nothing visible.

With this kind of engineering, you can replace every segment in case of a malfunction. Though, assuming that spare parts remain available for the doll's lifespan.

I was looking at the photos of the skeleton on their website and it's extremely impressive.

Interestingly, JY's current skeleton uses cogs in its knee joint and they seem to work very well.
