FedEx Sweden

Hi All,

I don't know if this was brought up elsewhere in the forums but,,,

We had a Sanhui168cm Lorelei (elf) doll refused import into Sweden!
Customs were not involved, and FedEx Sweden said that they would not import these dolls into Sweden even though not illegal, it was against their principles!
Looks like feminism has gotten into FedEx Sweden.

So that doll will end up being destroyed, so we will have to re-order from Sanhui (at our expense) and deliver to the UK for EU import, and then ship to Sweden.
So this is a heads up for anyone who may be in a similar position to have this happen to them.

I wonder if they would have done this if it was a male doll?

Maybe they are species-ist, they have a problem with elves? On the other hand, reality...

Is this a low-level decision of an individual at one depot or did this come from the higher-ups?

I was dealing with FedEx Head Office (Sweden), so not just a depot.

Not the first time FedEx doesn't deliver a doll (to Sweden).

Do FedEx prohibit Sex Doll or not

Yes good idea

Personally I've only gotten deliveries from UPS but never had a problem except the driver who is complaining about the big heavy box every time

My girl was also kidnap and finally murder by Fedex Sweden

But yes Swedish Fedex are social justice warrior who take the exploit off dolls very serious.
They doing it under the opinion dolls are pornographic content, and are forbidden through there own interpretation of Fedex rulebook.
Im pretty much sure they are breaking trade laws but legal dispute against a big enterprise will take a lot of time and effort.

Use UPS they are relative safe, they didn't give me no problem and the driver even pick me up and provide me lift home and carry the box to my front door.

Damnit, they still do this? I've read about this happening a couple times a few years ago, but were hoping they finally dropped it. It's weird they only seem to do this in Sweden??

Thanks for the headsup though, as I potentially have a Sanhui shipping next month. Will ask for alternatives from Mike, as I think they usually use Fedex.

Pretty sure you can nail them on unlawful destruction on international property, since they are not compensating you for the loss. And falls under destruction of property. Just saying, it is a criminal act.

I asked Sanhui to invoice me for the shipping fee back to China, but it is the re-entry fees that really ramp up the costs, which makes the return of the item uneconomical.

I can't see any way to fight this legally - the only way for this to be overturned, would be for FedEx USA to overrule this, which I do not see happening.

UPDATE!

My customer just emailed me to tell me that delivery of said refused doll had just been delivered.
I checked the tracking and this does corroborate this.

I have emailed the customer to request that he check everything for damages etc, so we will see what he has to say.

I am guessing that someone overruled this decision within FedEx - I did not take it further, but maybe because we have history of importing these goods into Sweden, that this gave credence to our argument that they are not obscene in nature?
So it seems that someone was trying too hard to bang the Social Justice Warrior Drum in this case, and was overruled.

I should get the Sex Doll Federation/Union organised so that we have an organisation that can put pressure on organisations that do this sort of thing.
What does everyone think?

Well that's a happy turn of events Phil! Yes anything that gives us a higher profile and bangs a drum in support of doll owners/vendors/manufacturers has to be a good thing. Frankly I'm a bit surprised that this has occurred in a country like Sweden as it's something you would probably associate with a more conservative country and Sweden has always struck me as somewhere that has an open, broadminded approach to all things sexual? Like you say, maybe this was just a rogue FedEx employee?

Awesome ending. NEVER use FedEx to send to Sweden. They just suck unfortunately. Go with UPS to be safe.

I believe it is mix of FedEx rulebook and envy employees.
