Anyway, we just found that GI Joe produced an aircraft carrier:

cool 1/6 scale inflatable video.
I built two 1:10 scale RC boats. both were electric and actually quite fast. 30 to 37 mph with water cooled motors and bilge pumps that worked. old school batteries had about 5 minute run times at 25 mph.
I'm thinking of building one for my Phicens. I might look into 1:12 scale.
