I myself, had a doll shipped in less than 4 days from HK: ordered on thursday (local time), shipped on Friday and delivered on Monday (in France). OK, that's cheating, it was a 1/6 th model
It's really rare that it's that fast, but we're not going to complain.

We are lucky that our dolls travel by air quickly, but maybe that will change in the future. I have already had parcels from China to Europe, which had been transported by rail (thru kazakhstan, Ukraine, Poland, Germany) whereas usually it comes by air. Fortunately, it was not a doll and not urgent either. There are therefore alternatives to the plane. For the US, it could also come by boat, but I dare not imagine a poor doll traveling in these conditions, locked up for several weeks in its package.
Fortunately, until now, no one has had the idea of shipping the dolls by cannon
