XYcolo 163 review - stunningly AMAZING!

In my opinion, a best of both worlds might be in having organic silicone with a platinum insert so that she's soft inside.

My Organic Silicone 153cm Large Breast doll has a built-in that's comparably soft inside as my Piperdoll. Only on the inside, though. The labia are composed of the harder silicone that her body is otherwise made of. She's very good for both sex and photography, but kind of a letdown for cuddling, which is a shame because I keep wanting to cuddle wit her because she's so lovely.

The other aspect of things is that I believe PU foam has a lifetime not exceeding around 17 years. So a doll without evidence of foam is going to be more long lasting.

There's got to be foam. XYcolo probably just designed it in a way that it's not obvious. Otherwise it'd be too heavy. There's another silicon manufacturer known for their dolls softness and many thought for the longest time their dolls were solid silicone. Only recently did we find out (direct from the manufacturer) that they do use a foam core but it's just done in a way that can't be felt (they probably use a lot less of it and maybe use a more elastic foam).


Thanks for the review. Had three questions:

1) Is your XYcolo the 163sb or 163lb?
2) What are your thoughts on the non-articulated pinky? I'm disappointed XYcolo is the only vendor with articulated fingers that hasn't figured out how to make all the fingers articulated.
3) How is the smell? I've read others mention the XYcolo platinum silicon has a slight smell to it. Combined with your comments on how soft it is, I'm a bit concerned the silicon blend is approaching TPE, and one of the reasons I ditched TPE was because of the smell. Even if the smell is pleasant, it's still chemicals.

The little finger is small. I think that an articulated little finger would break, so XYColo's decision is the right one in my opinion.

Smell - it's not a smell that I noticed and all my DS dolls have had a very very slight smell also. I don't believe a doll exists totally without smell.

For sure the softness is as soft as any TPE I've experienced.

It would be interesting to compare the softness of the organic silicone relative to the platinum. Of course it is going to be harder, but by how much is the question

I think someone commenting on the Organic Silicone has said that for photography she's stunning but for cuddling he wished he had the Platinum.

For anyone who's had a TPE doll, XYColo is the platinum match. The bum is soft and resilient enough not to have been deformed by this doll hanging around Hong Kong in her box on her backside, and then my delay in giving attention to her. And that's without gel filling. Sandro demonstrated the consequences of this sort of treatment with a doll of superior pretentions with gell-filled buttocks with very dramatic results. No risk of that with the XYColo.

I'm hoping to produce some photos soon but I'm being tormented by a character whose trying to take it out on me for his own failings and wasting a lot of my time as a result.

However I hope that my description in this report above is enough to give due confidence to anyone in the meantime. If I have any reservation about a doll I don't "glow" in making a recommendation. My reputation depends on people knowing that they can rely on my judgment and opinions and as such anyone finding a doll that I've enthused about to be less than satisfactory would be more than a slap in the face to my review.

Monica tells me that the foot bar for standing is removable and so I'd really recommend it. I really wish my lady had the standing option. She's also aware of the importance of joint tightness and her brand's reputation depends on them getting it right, which they have a determination to do.

Bearing in mind that most people who photograph a doll will do so clothed, for me the issue of body-colouring permanence is of lower priority to the sheer luxury of softness that the XYColo platinum silicone achieves. If sex and cuddling isn't in the picture, then go for organic silicone by all means.

Hi Harem,

It's good news that the foot bar is removable and I would definitely now go for that option.

I agree that a lot of the time a doll is clothed and for me the less permanent make-up on the platinum silicone version is not so much of an issue. The main reason I'm tempted by the organic silicone is the lower weight, making it easier to take her out and about for photography.

Not that the platinum silicone versions seem to be overweight for their dimensions

For photography on outside jaunts of the nature that I've been known for, weight below 30kgs is a godsend.

So it's a hard toss-up. But this is one company at least offering the option.

Yes. I always use telephoto for portraits but here possibly a longer focal length than usual.

She sent it to me too as I'd been asking questions about it Although when on it's a bit unsightly (but when in use would probably be covered by a sock and/or a trainer anyway), when removed it leaves only one hole. So a XYcolo with the plate and heel bolt removed leaves only two holes in the foot whereas everyone else has three holes Also I think the bar arrangement probably provides for better weight distribution and more stability.
