Cautions:
1. “XYcolo” doll can make pose as shown on Page 5, but be cautious that frequent stretching will cause serious consequences such as skin tearing.
2. Remove head while cleaning, do not let water in the head.
3. When put the doll stands, it is necessary wear shoes and socks and put feet fully ground. Otherwise will cause damage to foot;
4. Please follow operation instructions on page 6, improper operation will cause dislocation or fracture of skeleton.
5. over strain on eyes, lips or other edges will cause damage.

I'm not sure about which page 5 and page 6 were referring to . . . and perhaps it might help others.

For those not in the email-loop between Monica and myself, I'm on my way to taking some more photos and the skeleton is so exceptionally good that yoga seemed very possibly posable. The poses here

were the inspiration.

However, I've done some photos to demonstrate what her articulated fingers can do. People often ask for photos not adulterated by photoshop and that's exactly what I do. Imperfections may be visible here, and if so it's important to remember that this is a prototype doll testing the enhanced skeleton inside the platinum silicone body and that production dolls will not display any imperfections that might possibly be visible here.

So I asked Vala how she might demonstrate her hands . . .

For sure the softness is as soft as any TPE I've experienced.

Now that is good to hear!

I have had so many silicone dolls that were beautiful but hard. This really impacted my experience, particularly the face where the hardness felt particularly awkward. TPE changed that experience for me so it's good to hear silicone has met that standard.

For sure, the level of detail on those heads is astounding. Very real and I can imagine what she looks like in person.

I just recently acquired a three years old 4woods and I'm pretty disappointed. I love the body details and sculpt but the silicone isn't too my liking at all and sex is impossible due to the hardness and small canal(zero stretch at all). If anything at least having her as a snuggling partner could've made me happy but the silicone is a bit firm everywhere and the butt is especially firm. I'm gonna stick to my sanhui for now.

XYColo is most definitely top of my list now that 4woods has pretty much shown me what I hate in a doll. Could just be the age of the doll but three years isn't that old at all.

Your complaint about an old established brand is exactly why the new silicone manufacturers really are very exciting and why I'm going out of my way to review them one by one.

Were Vala to be a Standing version in my view she would compete to score number 1 among my dolls all round. Her face isn't stylised and is a benign presence. Not too hard and the makeup is said to be permanent and I can believe that. The eyes are good to move. Standard ball-in-a-socket design but well implemented.

Another established brand mentioned above seems to have gone off the mark on communication and as a result I wouldn't rely on customer support. Another long established brand has only just brought its premium dolls forward and the three or four faces so far are very stylised. Again, another established but newer brand has limited faces which are rather strong characters - one's got to like them. Another TPE manufacturer going into silicone is interesting but doesn't yet have articulated fingers. Another premium brand has patchy history of customer sastisfaction, and another new brand isn't ready yet.

So for these reasons in my opinion Monica with XYcolo vies well for attention.

Thanks - that's why I've taken a bit of time to put the video together rather than just pictures with my initial report. In doing a video I'm trying to take people through examination of a new doll and the points that one can usefully look for, together with the substance that leads me to be able to say that a doll is good. It's for that reason that along the way I note something and then come back to it later possibly with a more nuanced perspective. Something of which I'm conscious is that my videos aren't time-compressed as a whizz-bang "Gee ain't she great" or "ain't this rubbish" and therefore my videos are long. The YouTube stats tell me what proportion of viewers leave after X number of minutes, but for anyone contemplating spending $X000 on a purchase, possibly that 20 minutes or half hour with me on the video is potentially time well spent.

Of course there are aspects that a manufacturer might change, so if anyone sees something on one of my videos that they like, or don't like, it's worth emailing the manufacturer and saying "have you sorted out (whatever) yet?" or "are you still doing such and such?". Monica on xycolo@126.com is always very responsive and welcomes questions.

Of all manufacturers two stand out with representatives who are brilliant and work dedicated - and I've heard one of them be described as manic. Perhaps Manica lives up to her name in that regard! People who I know to have communicated with her comment that she's very on-the-ball and most importantly, she regards all the toy ladies who she sends out to customers as her daughters. She has a strong emotional attachment and empathy with all.
