It is quite a conundrum, in no way do i endorse cutting into the TPE for mods. I have had the same experience with openings i have made for skeleton surgery not being able to close them back up.I am only considering the magnets in the skull because they would be easier to conceal and may offer a solution to the attachment problem. They would have to be powerful to work, How good would it be as an option installed by the factory?MX-V wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 9:01 am
The attachment conundrum. I'm not a fan of making incisions in the tpe. Even after going through the precise instructions, the wound always seems to open up again.
I've wanted to have a really cool tail that matched the tpe and was bendable and yet soft enough
Attached right above the crack. But it would have to be detachable when she wants to lay on her back. So there's that. Now attaching dreadlocks, I just thought of a use for all of those wig caps that come with the purchase of wigs. Sewing into the wig cap you could actually make an entire wig.
Or how about a attachment point for tails from the factory as a option? It is the only way i see it working like i want, same goes for wings higher up the spine.
I have also thought about plugs in the TPE to axcess joints for adjustment/repair, as options there is money to be made i think but i have been frustrated with any kind of innovation over the last few years
Good luck with making dreadlocks! excited to see the results, your work with hair has always been great and set your shoots apart
Robot build is coming along nice, i am most interested in the lighting built into the forearm bracer, I have been trying to incorporate lighting into my build but am having difficulty making it look good. It appears fine to my eye but is way too bright when taking pics washing out the details i can see in person
The teeth and tongue look good as well,i know how tricky these can be after many attempts at making my own
I hope you do well in the photo contest, i would be interested but have no idea about them? sounds cool and fun!
Cheers!
