I really find the doll really heavy to lift.
But iguess it is all worth the effort.

They are heavy to be sure! Make sure her feet are shoulder width apart and squat and lift with your legs with one arm supporting her thighs just under her butt and the other hand behind her back. Don't try to carry her all the way in one go from point A to point B, plan out rest stops along the way so you don't gas out.
If you put shoes on her feet you can actually kinda walk her across the room quite easily without having to lift her all the way.

The dolls are extremely intimidating and heavy getting them out of the box the first time. That first lift is the hardest, she will get much easier to move around after you get the hang of it.

Yep.... While in box, raise her legs up to about 70-80deg angle, bend her knees down about 45degs and now u can lift her neck easily up from the floor, as her cute ass works as pivot point. Then it is much easier to get your arms under her back and under her thighs for lifting her up in newly wed pose...

Just make sure in advance that you got clear path to where ever you want to take her and that you can lay her down there in the pose she is in.

What comes to moving heavyish doll, 1st couple days are hardest... will get easier after that.

Many of us are struck by how heavy the dolls are. You can't really appreciate it until you get a doll in your house. It becomes all about logistics, moving her around.

That is an innovation that doll makers really need to work on.
