A Very Interesting Development

Boy oh boy do I have a story for y'all!

It all started last Thursday morning. I received a message from a fellow doll loving friend who was asking me if I wanted all of his male dolls.
All I would need to do is drive to his place and he would help me get there.
Hell yes I jumped at the opportunity. Things like this do not happen every day, hell, they probably don't even happen to most people once in their lifetime!
So, I packed up myself and kiddo and we made the 16 hour drive from our place to his. We got to enjoy the road trip (it was a wonderful bonding experience for me and my kiddo, especially since the suicide attempt in April), and saw some amazing views. I had seen these before throughout my childhood, when I vacationed with my brother and Dad. But it was kiddo's first time.
We arrived and had a wonderful visit with my friend. It had been far too long since we had last seen one another and catching up was really nice.
He loaded all six dolls into my SUV, plus strapped a full sized wheelchair to the top of my SUV on the roof rack.
Kiddo and I spent the night and drove back home, all six doll, plus a wheelchair in tow, the next day.
What did I come home with?
1 Sinthetics Male Doll (Gabriel)
1 Real Doll Male (Prototype face, body A)
1 Real Doll Male (Nate face, body A)
1 Iron Tech Charles
1 Iron Tech Clint / Warrior
1 unidentified at this point male doll.

So, I have thoroughly re-cleaned, oiled and powdered the three TPE dolls and will get to re-cleaning the Silicone Studs probably next week.
What an adventure and what a blessing!
I am so grateful, I cannot express it enough.

I have 11 now, Z, so I think you still have more than I do?
Yeah, I'll be taking photos once I get em all refreshed and can move my body again, LOL!

Wow! What a watershed moment. Glad you got to spend some quality time on the road with your kiddo! And now, it would seem that you have your doll 'work' cut out for you. I'm having trouble managing two, LOL.

Thank you, Nyxxxxx and Rock13! Yeah, I'm still trying to process all of it and have been finding myself a bit emotional. In a good way.
When cleaning and moving these guys around like I have been, seeing that they are more of a realistic weight in a human male, I feel like I'm preparing to become a registered nurse who will be having to constantly move and clean and care for patience. It's good practice for sure.

I don't know you, but it's nice to hear you got some quality time with your kiddo

I've got two teenagers myself that barely talk to me anymore so I know how precious those bonding moments can be...

Well, if I still had the four I had to discard, I'd have 16. But since I don't, I just have 12, plus the torsos. So you need to get yourself two more so you can dethrone me and I can seem rational again. haha.

Are you still planning on selling any of them? If so, I 'may' be interested depending of course on certain matters.

Thank you most definitely, Z! Ok so you are still the reigning doll king. Yes, I will be selling some of them, with my friend's blessing, to raise money to get kiddo some braces and continue to pay for her medical treatments. However, I will be keeping at least 2.
That reminds me. I've been thinking. I already have 4 TPE dolls ( 85 pounds each ) and one fabric doll (maybe 15 pounds) upstairs already. I am wondering if I can bring up the two silicone ones (est 100 pounds each) without having everything come crashing through the ceiling....

Super epic that you were able to get all those doll's, take a road trip and bond with your kid.

Also side note scoring a Sinthetics Gabriel doll. Absolutely awesome! Not to mention two real dolls.

Yeah, if you were to sell the Gabriel & the two real dolls, that would likely more than pay for ALL the medical bills you have and then some. Provided they are in good condition, which it seems they are.

I don't care at all for the Gabriel doll, tbh. Dolls with 'open mouths' creep me out.
