WANTED: Comments from someone who ordered custom from photos

First off, I'm very, VERY new, but didn't see anything in the rules saying I couldn't post something like this. But if I'm wrong, sorry mods, I'll take the deletion with dignity. Anyhow...

So I am brand new to the community, and don't yet own a doll. I plan on going through LoveDolls to buy my custom-made from-photo dolls. Two in mind. That said, I'm also considering availing myself of their generous policies and buying a pre-built one first, to introduce myself to how all this works before dropping several thousand dollars on a fully-custom mold.
So the question I have for the forum is: have you ever made either a full doll or a head from LoveDolls? How was it? If not, have you done so through any other vendor/manufacturer?

Thanks for your time, and wish me luck. I haven't joined a community of any sort for a long time, and I'm rusty.

I think there's nothing wrong with your post, although I'm not here to judge
I never placed a custom order myself, so can't really help you out with this one
I ordered my second love doll through lovedolls.com and had a great time texting with Adam, I think you'll be able to communicate all your expectations and wishes while he'll patently listen and get things started
