My doll mostly stays in my bed. Before my girlfriend comes over, I store my doll in the storage closet and cover it up with a blanket and many boxes.

Christen and I live in White Rose Cottage, a 10x14 cottage in my parents' backyard. In some ways it's perfect for us because it's like our own private, peaceful cocoon, free of stress and conflict and full of love. But in other ways it's difficult, because I spend the day in my parents' house and of course she cannot come with me. I dream of a future when perhaps I can have her near me all day long, but for now I slip out to cuddle with her as often as I can. Coming home to her is the best part of my day.

I wish I could leave her out like this all the time, but she spends nearly all of her time in bed. She is usually fully dressed, both to protect her skin and in case my parents come poking around. But this past week was our second anniversary, and a change of wardrobe was in order ... here she is in her current ensemble.

This is something my wife and I are struggling with at this very moment . . . our first doll arrives tomorrow, and unexpectedly BOTH of our kids are moving home.

Our plan had been to keep our girl on the bed, but with prying eyes back in the house, we're looking at a couple of alternative locations, both where she'll need to be hung (at least temporarily). Her head, though, we'll going to keep on a stand, probably tucked out of site in our bedroom.

Our long-term plan now is to convert an armoire we have to be able to hang her in and keep all our pertinent accessories in. It's the perfect size, but needs a bit of reinforcing.

Most of the time in my office, standing on a display stand I made. She generally wears white clothing that is non restrictive. Over that is a blanket to keep dust down. It’s cooler and darker (no direct sunlight) in my office, which are better living conditions for a TPE doll, in my opinion. Her paying gig is modeling clothing for a side business I have, so she rarely sees any time in my bed. I’d like to pick up a silicone doll someday, but for now what I have works. She always has socks/shoes on her feet. I never store her sitting or laying down. Occasionally I will hang her from the neck bolt to take pressure off the skeleton, and to change up a position. So far it’s worked well. She is my first doll, and I’ve learned a lot in the last six months.

Her name is Abby and has stayed in bed or most days on the sofa watching TV some days in the kitchen keeping me company .

Both of mine are in their shipping boxes, my daughter has moved back home for a little bit which is why I haven’t been able to take any pics of my starpery 174cm. It’s just temporary for now.

All 3 have this room made just for them.wife didn't want them in the bedroom or house so I made the room in basement. It's finally done..

In the guest room most of the time, because we rarely have guests. On warm days, she often sits in a recliner, but it's cold and rainy now, so in bed, under maker's blanket, another thick blanket and a comforter. She is still wearing the string bikini from last Saturday's photo shoot in the garden (see Doll Album) when it was a warm day, but now it is too cold to even consider stripping her to put on something warmer, so:

This feels like such a long time ago since I asked the question. A lot has happened. I've got the eyelids now and you can make her look like she's asleep. In fact my girl sleeps every night now. Being able to close her eyes makes a HUGE difference to 'muh immersion. I'm gonna do a review on the eyelids soon.

And I never answered the original question:

She's usually sat on the small sofa in the day, etc and at night in bed. About 40% of the time I stand her so her body gets a bit of 'exercise' and to see how she looks in a new garment.
