I couldn't resist... again!

While I have been having tons of fun with my DEMI custom doll from Hongyi, I still felt that she could be improved upon.
Now that my other (Jeannie) doll was sold, I got a bit of extra funds (and storage space), so a plan started to emerge.
Having learnt Daz3D Studio from you guys here on the forum (love that program!), I got designing and while I promised myself to 'just design something' and nothing more, of course I couldn't resist contacting Hongyi and having another doll made

It's an improvement on my DEMI doll, but her 'android theme' had since worn off, so I decided to try something as close as human as possible. I already showed a glimpse of her in the 'fantasy doll' thread, but here is my final design:

Just approved their design, can't wait to see the end result!
Had a bit of a misunderstanding while negotiating: my requirements seemed to be a bit too detailed, and their first quote was over $1700 USD...

I think they were going to do a full photorealistic print on the doll and add all the fine detail like fingers and stuff... Managed to dial that down to less than half of the price it

Never really got a straight answer on why the first price was that high, though. But you rarely do, even when asking straight questions...
Also not sure if the face will look exactly as on the 3D version, or some low-res distilled version. That was the case with my DEMI doll. Would be nice if it did turn out exactly like it, though, but I we'll see. Most important thing was the pose and shape, anyway! As you can notice, I found the boobs on my DEMI doll a bit too small as well

Can't wait!

DAZ3D is truly an outstanding program!

Its bad that the computer I'm currently using doesn't have good enough
hardware technical characteristics to support the program's operation smoothly.

I think I would be able to design and present a whole new edition of vinyl girls.

Daz3D can be quite taxing on the PC, indeed!
Rendering overnight is mostly the only option if you have even a moderately complicated scene.

I'm not sure, but I think I could actually have her made for less, but we started out on a misunderstanding where they quoted me for more than double that.
They were supposed to scrap the 'photorealistic printing', but the print on the face looks quite photorealistic to me... So they probably settled for something in between once I told them my budget. And I suspect they were originally planning on modelling the fingers as well.

It's a damn shame no one makes dolls like that you can buy off-the-shelf! All the 'spread-eagle' type dolls generally can't be properly penetrated, or you'll have to deflate them seriously, which takes all the fun away for me. Not so with this one! Inflate as hard as you want and put your full weight on her: she won't mind a bit!
The whole market has moved to TPE dolls and while they look very good, they're mighty inconvenient to have sex with (they're heavy and cold) and I just don't really like the sex with them (I have a TPE torso)! Try switching from missionary to doggy style with them

... Yeah, you can pose them, but if you're a little creative with the inflation, you can pose these just as well (especially with 9 separate air chambers!). Or have them made in the most useful pose, like I tried here.

People might call me crazy for paying that for an inflatable: I'd have a (cheapish) TPE doll for that money, but I wouldn't be half as happy as with this inflatable! She'll easily outlast any TPE doll out there with a tenth of the maintenance. I can even take her on holiday without anyone noticing! If you go camping, no one will find it strange you're inflating something in your tent

!

Well, she is from China, so what would you expect

After a lot of tinkering and modelling in Daz3D, I found this to be the most 'universally useful' pose: missionary, (reverse) cowgirl, doggy style, standing, sitting, kneeling to give head: she should be able to do it all without even changing the inflation!
At least that's what I hope... I'll find out soon enough: she is due to be delivered tomorrow (in a pickup-shop).
So expect a review pretty soon!

Yeah, I could potentially afford a TPE doll but it would be a complete pain in the ass to store and the torso/ toy affair has never appealed to me. Do the China businesses do anything cheaper than $90, I could pick up a kimmi off ebay for that amount but the whole dog bone insert and lack of ass/ tits doesn't appeal to me at all.

A custom doll under $90... I guess not

If you're considering a kimmi but hate the dog-bone, maybe go for a Diaoshi doll? About the same price and they don't use dog-bone inserts (at least not the one I have)... But the same tits-and-ass wise, I guess...
