I'd like to see Miss Marie do the pose nakedjester maike wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 6:37 am Miss Marie is so similar with this masterpiece, Le Penseur
Actually, you're giving me ideas. I've been meaning to do something with my Piper Jessica for a while and I think she'd look great in that pose. It's the weekend soon, I'll have to give it a go

I somehow missed this response - thank you so much!
Mucha is one of my absolute biggest art inspirations, so that means a lot to me. I actually have that print you linked in my dining room

Nice light that models the body well!
I really like the way the folds on the abdomen look very natural. And also the way you have dealt with the base of the statue.

Usually you only see their work, but here we see the artist (doll) in action.
I have a print of this picture hanging on my wall but my doll does not want to pose next to it for legal reasons

If you're unfamiliar with the project; this guitar has been traveling across the country, as part of a collaboration project with different forum members courtesy of Jantra
These old paintings instantly came to mind as something I wanted to copy when I heard we were going to be given an opportunity to add our own to the project
Top; Rosso Fiorentino - Cherub Playing a Lute
