When looking more closely, I at least paid attention to that forearm, which bends strangely.. that is, a common problem with dolls. It looks good when straight, but bending the limbs brings out strange anatomical features that the manufacturer should pay more attention to.

Two of my own dolls have separately modeled kneecaps so that bending the knee would look anatomically correct, but it doesn't help if the kneecap is slightly in the wrong place

Hello, our doll skeleton is designed according to the real human joint movement law, if you see the doll's arm skin is strangely twisted, it may not be the doll's skin does not move with the skeleton, resulting in the distortion.

I don't know why but when I see the SM160D from the front her legs look short, (refer back to the first pictures of this thread), but if you look at her from behind her bottom looks perfect and her legs look correctly proportioned(?) Is this an optical illusion? Or am I just used to Lexy, (a SM168C), that is perfect in every dimension, (to my eye at least)?

Hey Stocking_Hunter, I can understand what you are saying. She is 8 cm shorter that the 168c and I think a lot of that height is in the legs. I have gotten to the point where I realize that there is no perfect doll, much like there is no perfect person. I just appreciate every doll for who they are.

That's the thing. From certain angles she looks perfect. From others there is something "off" but I can't quite put my finger on it. That being said I would still take a SM160D if offered...

She is an awesome mold.
