I’m still saving up I have 1-2 more months to go. It’s a positive thing for me since I gave up smoking and drinking and frivolous spending just for this. Learning how to move and clean it will be the only learning curve compared to my 90 pound torso doll that I can just pick up and put in the shower.

Yea the 6ye 161 j community has been really helpful and friendly. I saved a bunch of gifs, and pics from various owners to get an idea how mine will end up. There’s 100% satisfaction and 0 regret buyers. I’m honestly surprised how many people have a hard time over 50 pounds. This is even after I had hernia surgery from lifting outside stuff. Ps don’t lift a whole tree lol.
Btw you got any doll washing videos? I can’t find any specifically for heavier ones

I like the peed pad idea for irrigating the holes. Before I was just letting it drip on the bed and throw the sheets in the wash afterwards. You stand her up while cleaning? Once the leg joints start to loosen over time, won’t that be a problem? I’m also surprised you let her fully dry after oiling. I would use her right away after seeing that. It happens to me every time
I don’t mind the oil on the bed, I have white sheets that I can bleach if they get ugly and it’s good for your skin anyways. Maybe there’s a way to wash on the bed with plastic liner? I won’t be able to wash hanged up for awhile till I can get the materials to dyi it. I found a wheeled hanger but im not paying $400 for something I know I can build myself

This is also another method for cleaning that its ok, only if you dont cum inside . Nowadays i use to soak the towel wipes on Antibacterial gel Isdin , later another towel with water and finally the rolled paper . No issue in more than 2 years

My YL146 legs , not her knees neither its spine , just the part connecting to the hips , are loosed some time ago and its not a problem to leave her in standing position if you have much care , bending her back you can just support her head onto the wall , with no other part of her touching the wall and she will stay put . Bonus to place a pad to avoid damage

Its extremely important to protect her soles/feet when standing her , this is what can i recommend to keep them in perfect conditions

I bet also you can use the bed plastic sheets if you want to wash her on it , but it can and will get very messy

About oiling , yes , its important to let her dry because it needs to be soacked through the porous tpe before aplying powder ,

Normaly and what you will read as recommended ,is washing , oiling and finally powdering , but in the last year i did oiling ( dry ) , wash ( dry ) and powder and it works better for me as the smell much better and no degradation had been found for doing this

I oiled her only 2 times per year maximum , but usually wash her every 2 months if not used . But ,if heavily used , i will wipe her full body right afterwards with the wipe towels that has antibacterial gel + water

I plan to use her everyday. I follow your cleaning ideas, seems easy enough. I like that bra you have on the picture, the shoes, the long socks, and the plastic bolts. Do you have links for those? That would ease my mind for feet and leg damage. The bra is hot too!
