Thanks, yeah the gesso over the canvas gives it a flexible rubbery feel as well, so that adds to the realism.

No I have not really cosplayed before but I have created monster costumes for haunted house actors, so it was similar practice. I also watch cosplay tutorial videos and I'm learning more with each project.
