In mid-may i got a call from an old friend who is currently living in china.
„Hey remember that last time you told me that you were thinking about getting a flatmate, since you’re not using one room of your flat?“
„Yeah, sure.“
„Is that still so?“
„Yes…...why?“
„I’ve got a acquaintance here who will start her PhD program at the university in your neighbouring city. She is looking for a place to stay, at least for a few weeks.“
„Her PhD program?“
„“Yeah, she’s a really nice girl, kind, good sense of humour, blonde…“
„Don’t you think me taking in a young girl as roommate is a little inappropiate?“
„First of all, she’s not a girl anymore. Heck, i’ve already spoken to her about this. She does not mind living together with an old geezer like you!“
„Hey, i’m just over 40!“
„Can i give her your adress now or not?“
„OK…“
A few weeks later, she arrived at my place.
„Hi, i’m Oriana. My friends call me Ori“
„Hi, come on in. Let me show you your room.“

„No, the rest is still downstairs. Let me put away my suitcase, then i’ll get the rest.“
„Need a helping hand?“
„No, thank you, i can manage it myself.“
5 minutes pass…
Noise in the hallway…
„Oriana, do you need help?“
„No, i’ve got it. Could you hold the door open for me?“

„I was not allowed to take all of my luggage on the plane, so i sent it here ahead via UPS!“

„So, Oriana, this your room, over here is my room, right next to the bathroom. The kitchen is over here, over there is the dining room and the living room. Just feel yourself at home.“
„Thanks, i guess i’ll start by changing into something a little more comfortable and start putting my stuff away.“
Later. Oriana enters the living room.
„Oh, you’ve got quite some movie collection. Can i help myself, too?“
„Sure, feel free“
And You’ve got a PS4? May I use it, too?“
„Yeah, sure. I’ll set up a profile for you.“
„What games have you got?“
„The usual stuff. Red Dead Redemption, Gran Tourismo, several Final Fantasy games.“
„Great, Can i play now?“
„Go ahead if you like.“
