I wasn't going to post any factory photos because they are usually so bad in quality that you can't really tell a whole lot but since the shipping process has begun I thought maybe just a few from the set and I've only seen one other AK 165 (Tighes) on this forum. Heads 273 and 169 soft silicone. You can't tell it's light tan skin color but it is. Will go into much more detail once it gets here hopefully in one piece (send positive good vibes my way for a smooth shipment!).

Took delivery of AK 165-D today. Everything went smooth with no damage. Would like to thank Rosemary Doll for excellent customer service and they arranged shipping from China to New York non stop with SF International. UPS took over from there. Ordered September 27 and delivered today November 1. As it turns out she is not light tan as I ordered but I should have seen that from the factory photos and I did wonder but figured they are such low quality photos, bad lighting, etc. that I didn't bother. My bad. However, it's really not that big of a deal. She's a bit fairer in complexion than I wanted but it's fine. Configured with hard feet, articulated fingers, soft vagina, soft inner thighs, soft silicone heads, soft breasts but no soft butt (it's soft enough anyway). Overall she (her body) is really softer than I was expecting. Much more than my now almost 4 year old Zelex 170. The AK 165 hard feet are hard. Vagina is very soft and her honey hole looks very accommodating. Breasts are amazing soft. Inner thighs can't really tell the difference. She is very light. I haven't weighed her yet but compared to my 90+ pound Zelex the AK 165 is a breeze to carry around and manage.

She looks beautiful! Congrats on a fast, safe voyage from around the world!

I have a question about the skin tone, only because another user just received a TPE head (WM and AK being the same company just with factories across the street from one another) that was ordered in Tan but was received lighter than expected.

Did you reach out to RosemaryDoll about the skin tone? Is your doll really "Light Tan" and this lighter tone is just what we should expect when ordering from now on?

Please don't think I'm trying to detract from the beauty of your doll or crash your new doll honeymoon. I promise I'm not. I'm just curious about your expectations vs. what you received, and what RosemaryDoll or AK has commented on regarding the skin coloring.

Looking at her is getting me excited about my own upcoming AK order. AngelKiss is doing some amazing work right now!

I also had a question about the skin tone, because I just ordered an AK7 162cm from RMD last week.

Did you select Light Tan or Same As Pictured? I don't know why, by in my mind if I selected "same as pictured" then it would default to some choice that was not what I wanted, but I also didn't know what was in the picture for some items so it seemed even more likely to be wrong if I made specific selections.

I'm new to the process so it's slightly confusing.

As said above, don't mean to detract from the subject, which is definitely a huge congratulations on your new doll! She's beautiful and I'm happy for you.

I just emailed Rosemary this afternoon (Thursday at 3:20 pm but it's 3:20 a.m. Friday in China so they will respond quickly, they always do. I selected light tan skin tone and not same as picture. The work order states light tan as well. As I said I should have said something before giving them the go ahead to ship. The unboxing photos I took don't really show just how white her skin really is. I thought I was okay with the skin color but I'm not. I'm going to sell this one so it will be up in the Market very soon if anybody wants to buy her. You will get a great deal I promise but be prepared to pay for shipping or local pickup is preferred.

That's too bad. I feel like it can be hard to determine skin tone just by looking at factory photos. The lights are so bright and strong that it makes almost every doll look white.

As I go look at more factory photos, I guess the fair dolls do tend to look even more white in the factory photos. But still, that's a heavy burden to place on the consumer to be able to tell for sure. Hopefully they will do something for you!

She is stunning mate. Both heads are the 2 most popular. Good to see the individual styles that even though I have both of them, yours are slightly different to mine.

I'm very curious to see what skin color RMD or the manufacturer will confirm.

I've been meaning to click off an order with RMD as well, but I'll wait for that info.

Otherwise, thanks so much for the quick "unboxing" review.
It's good to see how the doll comes packaged... (Wasn't the neck of the doll bent by shipping?).
Also, the description of the softness of the doll is very helpful.

And thanks especially for the close-up view of the love holes, we can finally get an idea of how they might work/not work...
