Ditti here. us "old farts" I think would like a simple table of contants without a bunch of 22'nd century (to us) oddball formatting.Everhard wrote:The only problem I have with Coverdoll is I find it hard to navigate. It is just so non standard. I saw some great photos of a doll with a huge fabric snake, but I have no 'feeling' of the 'hierarchy of belongingness' that would enable me to pidgeonhole them in my mind. (Sometimes I click a link expecting to see a photo and, instead, it displays a gallery.)
Having said that, I know not everybody uses the 'hierarchy of info' mental model for understanding the world. So maybe they have no trouble with it.
One thing I just noticed is that linked text is visually indistinguishable from unlinked text. For example, search for the text "tash_nony's blog" on the linked page.

Re: Dolltime
To make it easy for members when we post a new CD blog we generally provide a corresponding photo here at TDF (for those who cannot be bothered to click the link but they miss out on the full blog) and a link which, with one click on it, takes you to the new blog post.
If you want to check out other recent posts at CD one click on the 'recent post' on the left hand side gives you the list.
The rest of the menu on the left hand side is all similarly self explanatory and easy.
One thing that should be noted regarding your last post is that since Lubov and Annette joined the girls Tash_Nony has been superceded by Dolltime and thus is no more.
So without more ado:
Going Out and getting laid .... maybe.

The book is interesting in that it is printed in two languages. The left hand page is in English and the right hand page is in Russian. If you look carefully you can see this in the title above and below the illustration.
It is in fact a collection of Short Fairy Tales (for adults - aren't they all) by Oscar Wilde combining 'The Happy Prince and other Tales' and 'A House of Pomegranates' both recommended for those interested in philosophy and critique of human nature. 'The nightingale and the Rose' is particularly poignant.
