How at liberty are Wicked RD owners w/their doll?
This raises a question:
How at liberty are people with their liscensed doll?
I guess people are at liberty to do what they want to with their Wicked once they get them, since they are essentially their property and all, as in - one might feel the liberty to take a piercing out, like on Kaylani, she has two right?, one might also feel at liberty to maybe even change their Wicked RD's wig color/style, or one might even go so far as to figure out how to change the face/head altogether or alter it somehow in order to get a different doll face on one. I was wondering how the Wickeds would feel about anyone doing anything to their liscensed doll?
I mean, does Kaylani care if one takes her Wicked RD's piercings out, change her wig, her face, etc.? What about the others? What about even changing a Wicked RealDolls name? If anyone were to buy a doll version of myself (again please hold your laughter here people) and changed him in any way, I'd be offended, it would be much irreverence, etc. I try to respect others as much as my capacity will allow me to, so I just wondered if any of the Wickeds would be offended any by any of this? Maybe Abyss would know, or The Jessica Drake could answer for herself, or anyone else who might know the real Wickeds in real life. This is why I am not limiting myself with simply PMing Abyss about it, plus maybe others might wonder about all this, too.

Re: How at liberty are Wicked RD owners w/their doll?
I dont see that on the webpage?I understand that the Wicked RealDoll's are not customizable
I read this on wicked website:
, so I am bit suprised you wouldn't be able to change a wig as this is very important to me as wigs are easely damaged (loosing hair) and a doll can look completely different with another wig.Full head design, without magnets or velcro. All components are modular for easy replacement and cleaning/maintenance
I also read this
so not a surprise to me you cant change heads. The new removable deep throat mouth insert, which features a canal which goes down the throat of the doll versus straight back into the head, for up to 7" of penetration.
For the rest I dont know what to say. And yes I like liberty aswell, I have 3 heads with my 4 wood doll.

However, it made me wonder how Stacy was able to affix an original RD face to a Kaylani Lei body...
...until I read the caption of one of the pics that said she put an old RD skull on it as well. I guess that means the back of the head is just the bare skull, but I suppose that wont matter for pics since it's concealed by the wig.
Re: How at liberty are Wicked RD owners w/their doll?
Deep throat on dolls ruins the entire aesthetic and pose-ability.... So I cut the deep part of the mouth off (the part that goes down the throat).
I'll take more pics and start a thread about it later...

All I have to say is, it's my doll and I don't really care what the Wicked girl thinks about me changing her head. Her face is not my taste, but her body is.
So when I posted pics last night, the OP thought he could stir some shit into the pot. Too bad I don't give a crap.
I love my new doll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(some people have nothing better to do, than to try and start trouble.... go get a hobby or something)
Re: How at liberty are Wicked RD owners w/their doll?
As you know I own the serial 1 Alektra. When I purchased her I was told that Abyss is bound by a licence to Wicked, so in effect Abyss can’t change anything on the dolls. They are sculptured as replicas of a real person, just in the same way that Madame Tussauds makes replicas of famous people. Which have to be approved by the real person before going on display, or in this case being sold by Abyss.
One could ask the question of why one would want to buy a replica of a star and then want to change it?
However there is nothing stopping you from changing the makeup, wig or clothing once you have the doll, as even real people change their hair style makeup and clothing (I hope LOL) . Just don’t ask Abyss to do it, as they will only tell you that they are bound by the licence and I’m sure the real stars will say the same.
Anyway here’s some Alektra spam

I can't wait to see your new pics Stacystacy718 wrote:Actually I removed the entire skull at the base of the neck, and replaced the whole Wicked skull with a Realdoll 1 skull. There is a whole new head.

But it raises the point of the genuineness of the doll, if you, for example, change the wig color, and the face, she is in essence no longer a jessica drake, or a Kaylani Lei doll.
On the order form, she is, but nobody will at first recognize her as such.
But like Kharn said, if you want a replica of a porn star, why would you change it, but some just like the body and/or face configuration, so to speak.
Like Stacy, she likes the Kaylani Lei body, but doesn't like the face as much as she likes other faces, so, she changed the doll to her liking.

My old RD1 faces are dear to me, some of them look so real and I love them for that!
To see them on a new body, given a second chance to model for me- is AWESOME! I
would think that the ability to change them is a plus for us doll owners. More variety!
Vive la difference!
Besides that Kaylani Lei has a HELL of a sexy little body!! Why wouldn't I want to use it?

Hi, Alex. Yes, I automatically assume that once something is one's property, one is really at liberty to do such things. But I just question it with liscensed dolls, especially when I think about how I would feel if I had a doll doppelgänger.AlexKnight wrote:Like you said, once the doll is in the owners hands, they are completely free to do what they like.
Hi, Kharn. Right. I really like Elektra Blues face. I noticed before that both you and midiman also kept the name of your dolls the same, too. I think it would be difficult to imagine a "persona" for a Wicked doll, calling her a different name other than a Wicked Girl name, even changing her wig, like I can't imagine changing Elektra Blue's dark hair to something lighter. I think I would be offended if I was made into a doll and someone added a persona/name that is not mine onto the doll. Kind of like in real life - take me as is, or not at all, you know? If they don't like me, better just to go buy a different doll, and not try to change my doll any, you know? But like Kharn said, if you want a replica of a porn star, why would you change it, but some just like the body and/or face configuration, so to speak.
I think Jessica went to the greatest length so far that I know of in getting her doll to be as much like her as possible with the offer out there now about being able to dress her in clothing that she has actually worn herself if you contact her. I'd love to hear from her in regards to this thread, how she'd feel about anyone changing her doll any, but she's busy with a real life and all.
Oh, I didn't know that was why. Wow, my initial assumption was totally wrong then.Like Stacy, she likes the Kaylani Lei body, but doesn't like the face as much as she likes other faces, so, she changed the doll to her liking.
Re: How at liberty are Wicked RD owners w/their doll?
At first, the novelty of owning a clone of someone real was exciting.
But, later, it was more of what I found more attractive.
I created a more of a doe-eyed look on the face. And I tweaked with original makeup was, since I thought it was kind of goth like.
Here is what she looks like today.

Did you also change her eyes, as they look brown in the photo?perljam wrote:I did some minor modification to my alektra doll.

Anyone know if the "Blue" part of her name comes from her eyes, or what? They look really blue in her doll doppelgänger.
