No Options on WIcked dolls?

Post by HoneyDoo »

Now, I have been looking at a special purchase and have done quite a bit of window shopping and such. I really like the wicked real doll body out of them all --specifically the body on the electra doll. I just don't like the face. Unfortunately, when I tried to find the options available, there are none. Is it possible to switch out a head on this body if you pay extra?

I could live without any special skin tone but I can't handle the face on the doll but it is my favorite of all the Real Doll bodies. To me, the face looks a bit agitated, or maybe thats just the photos I have seen in the gallery. I really would like that body but not a doll that looks like it wants to kick my ass. Sorry for being blunt. What would it cost to order a different head?

It's based on Elektra who gave Abyss rights to use her image. The deal was they can not make any custom changes to her doll. Stacy has customized hers though and it does not matter what you change after the purchase. I will come back with the link to Stacys Modifications in a minute.

Thanks. Unfortunately, it says 'no images to display.'

I can understand if it is licensed there is an issue with changing things but the all-or-nothing approach is not what I would expect for a doll of this price. Nice bodies on the wicked dolls but the faces do nothing for me, except the kaylani face but the doll is too small for my tastes. I like the more subtle innocent look and the aggressive BD/SM type faces turn me off. Arghhh. For the price for the wicked dolls, you should be able to order it to your specs, IMO.

Anyways you can order a RealDoll to specs, they are mainly made with hybrid sculpt and life cast features. A wicked doll is a brand based on a porno movie with the same brand. The idea is to make doppelgangers of their main female cast. They are well known Pornstars also so it is a plus for fans of their other movies. It can't be a option to customize them because it is based on real women.

It's probably just the photos :) Not into chains and whips?

Like others have said, it's indeed not possible to get another head on a Wicked Realdoll body from the factory.
They are all made identically, that's what the contract with Wicked Pictures demands from them.

While I would prefer some customization, I suppose that in a way it can be beneficial to not have to worry about if you made the right choices. You pretty much know what you are getting here and don't have to worry about second thoughts regarding the options you picked. One way to look at it, I guess.

Agreed. I prefer the natural type makeup as well. I'd suggest looking at some of the earlier RD faces which do a good job capturing this. These can be configured for your liking.

It's this look that drives me nuts.

You could get the same "style" of makeup for any of the RD2 faces as well. Some customers have opted to go for a RD2 body with a RD1 skull. Lot's of customization options.

That is too bad that you cant customize a wicked.

I notice in another thread that there is develpment of RD2 body D, which kind of has similar body type of alektra's body.

Too bad you can't just take alektra's body and call it a bodyD and then and attach a RD1/RD2 face on it.

Well, when I think of this from the eprspective of the person licensing the doll it makes sense why they won't allow modifications. SInce this is their body it was cast from, they don't want a doll getting out their with modifcations that looks nasty or something. Personally, I don't watch a lot of pron and I didn't even know who these models were when I came accross the RD site. For me, it doesn't matter if it's a body of a porn star or not. If I see something that catches my interest, that's how I shop for this type of thing.

Obviously Real Doll is selling these or they wouldn't be made. But I would think you could get even more sales off these dolls if you got the model to agree to allow different ehads on the body and changes to the skin tone and eye color, etc.It is not my affair, though, and I have no business telling anyone how to run their shop. I am just speaking as a consumer who would think about buying one of these dolls. Forcing the customer to go all or nothing is probably going to limit sales to only people who have an attraction toe the model that the cast was made from.

They might be able to make minor modifications, like giving her a more tanned skin tone (I don't think that would violate the contract, after all, the real "model" can, get a tan so why not the doll?) Of course you may be able to change a few things yourself once you get her, like eye color, a different wig...

Yea that's a bummer...I really love jessica drake but she might be too tall for me. Alektra has a perfect body but I love jessica's face.

I can't remember if this has been asked before: Can the Wicked Realdolls be made from certain looks that the girls have had themselves?
And on are lesser note can real eyebrows and more realistic/upgradded eyes available? I'm hoping for one of 2 dolls next year and I've seen too many pics of Lupe with long wavy brown hair

Hi Jaques :)

Abyss are bound by a contract to Wicked. They have both agreed with the stars on the exact formate that the dolls will be sold under. As others have so rightly said, if you want to change anything, then you can when you have her. However Abyss to my understanding can not do this at the factory for reasons stated above. If I'm wrong, then please do correct me Abyss

However the eyes are realistic in my opinion and so is the detail on the doll, I can say this as I own one

Hey Stacy :D Your photos of the Wicked dolls are out of this world. Remember how I kept asking you for more Alektra pics before I got my serial one. Your photos kept me going through the long wait, as I'm sure they do for many others.
