Shipping question

I've ordered a Macy style doll from BD and have been tracking it. The question is she's been sitting in Hong Kong for a week now, is this normal. She is being delivered to New York and once she finally leaves Hong Kong will it be long after that? I know it's the holidays but the waiting and not knowing is killing me.

I could be wrong, but many shipping agencies are closed for the holidays, or are working on skeleton crews, so it's likely you'll see movement after the holidays.

This time of the year sucks if you're waiting for something.

I wondered whether Christmas was popular in China. Google images implies it is.

I live near Toronto Canada and both my dolls took about 2 weeks to ship.
They both went from Hong Kong to Alaska to Memphis TN to Toronto.
Very slow .. but it is economy shipping so I guess that's to be expected.

They also arrived about a week later than Fedex estimated delivery date.

It's worse when it gets from wherever it's coming from to your country very quickly, and then just sits for a week before being sent to a local distrib center and sitting another couple days.

O ordered from IamdollUSA in november.
the doll also "seemed" to be in HK for a week, however after contacting IamdollUSA, they told me that DHL changes the tracking number sometimes. Don't ask me why....but they did.
Doll arrived well in Germany.
Hope you get her soon!

Those who ordered dolls during the end-of-year Holiday sale will probably have an extended wait time while production catches up with orders.

hi over the holidays there can be delays also sometimes shipping info may not be updated for a few days.

as has been said sometimes tracking no. will change there should be some information on the tracking page.

may last doll was showing as in hk for a week before the tracking information changed then the new number showed she was in germany at customs and sill showed german customs 2 days after she was delivered.

hopefully she will be with you soon
