Hey everyone!

I'm a post-secondary student in Nova Scotia, and due to the pandemic the world of dating I was about to finally and confidently enter was ground to a halt with respect to social distancing and in-general public appearances. I finished NieR: Automata on PC and after seeing a particular DLC music video of all things, "amazarashi - 'Deserving of Life' featuring NieR: Automata" which features dolls of all kinds... something resonated with me.

Somehow, I ended up coming across TPE dolls and ordered one that will still be a month or so from getting here.
This culture on the site is so beautiful, and I have already bought nearly everything required to properly care for her, thanks to the heavy-hitting guides up on here! It's quite profound how I can already feel affection and an attachment to my first doll, even if just through the pictures on WM's site.

I look forward to meeting people via this platform and sharing discussions, especially on doll care as that is where I'm at so far in this endeavor. The freedom and opportunities a doll will allow me to explore in my life is something so special and meaningful.

Hey folks!

Living in the woods sure has his perks for an introvert, however it does have its downsides as well. Aside from the commute time to meet people, there just aren't many around. I do have a wonderful partner, but due to the pandemic like so many others, we are keeping our distance at this time, as well as an already unequal libido.

Beyond that I've always been into dolls, and have had been holding off for most of my adult life for various reasons, biggest being cost. This year however, my tax return and a roommate moving in have allowed me to save up enough to make my purchase in the coming weeks.

I've narrowed my choices down to a couple, and in the meantime wanted to get to know the community, as a quite excited soon to be full member and get into it all!

Hello! Steven is my name. I am 42 and single. I have been single for nearly 6 years and feel great about it - most of the time. I am not dating either; there just don't seem to be many quality women at my age who are single and without kids. I am attending college with the goal to become a renewable energy technician. Ultimately a wind turbine maintenance tech, and likely to begin as a solar array installer. I am a hobbyist photographer and have a panache for engineering. I have always been an, "off the beaten path" individual, and some have said anti-social. I dug into that title and realize it is not the common negative connotation usually associated with the word. Anti-social, for me, can mean that I do not comply with the social construct most widely accepted (and pre-imposed at birth by gender) by society in America. I simply, follow my heart and listen to my inner voice.

Being single at 42 is much different than when I was single at 24. I was popular among women my age at 24, not as much now at 42, and those at my age now have adopted the social status quo and are single mothers or married with children. They are often interested in me but, I wont tolerate another mans children and I wont interfere a marriage. Alas, my days of "slaying the college aged poon" seem to be over....

So, on my new life chapter I aim to be somewhat of the nomad. A tiny-home living, nature loving, free man; no pets, never married, no kids. Companionship in the times of lull is hard to come by and I decided to revisit a decade old idea of owning a love doll. I have always enjoyed buying jewelry, clothing, treats, and surprise dates for my girlfriends. The joy and sparkle in their eyes was my delight. I especially miss outfitting my girlfriends for a surprise date-night. Okay, I think you get an idea of me and my love style.

On to my recent quest for a love doll:

I am still shopping for my first doll. I have been browsing with "YourDoll" and few other sites. My most interactive vendor has been real communication with YourDoll, and TheDollChannel. Some of the dolls I am reviewing are very compact and inspire my photographic interests and age old fantasies of faeries, pixies, and sprites. I will not be listing them here for concern they might violate TDF's new policies on young looking dolls.

For my first companion doll, light weight and compact size is a must. I live free from mortgage and rent in a nice RV so, space is limited.

The SE 150e with head SE022-B/SE014 is leading overall.

YL 151c head 304/334 gets the next biggest slice of win.

WM 140d seems fair but I don't see many photos of the figure standing and I am concerned she is more squat and round for my taste.

The WM 157b, 164d, and WM 166c are front runners for when I "graduate" myself to larger dolls.

(WM heads: 56, 74, 87, RLSD 200, 233, 273, YL 304, 334, 368.

Head 304 and 334 tie for 157b; 56 is a strong 1st place for the 164d (smokin' hot on 172d); 273 for the 166c.

Been lurking for a few days and decided to join, so a big "hello" to all

I've had dolls before but bought my last one when "realistic" dolls were $8K a pop and import to the UK would have been extortionately expensive; so I bought a good-quality inflatable, then when the inevitable tears and leaks happened, filled her with rags to give her a reasonable body type; it's simple enough to insert a FleshLite in the appropriate place. Fast forward 20 years and "modern" dolls are cheaper and have more features, so I am finally in a position to buy one

Currently looking at WM, 165 or taller, C to E cup, dolls at the moment, as WM seem to have the best value for money and can be heavily customised. I am strongly attracted to taller women, those around my height, but not statuesque or Amazonian or whatever you want to call it; so while their height should be 5'6" at least for me, as dolls in that range are heavier and seem to be generally on the large size, there's a lot of thinking to do.

Don't want to give too much personal information away right now, as there are still too many people in my life who believe all kinds of ridiculous stereotypes about dolls and their human companions; so let's just say I'm on the wrong side of 50, single, male and British; that'll do for now.

After such a long time out of the loop, it's good to have rediscovered this forum, which I vaguely remember from times past; it seems friendly and well run, so hopefully I can find lots of good advice and maybe in time contribute some.

Hi! Hi! My name is Mariya shido I'm new to Doll Forum. I just received my first doll but not with out some complications. I decided to create this account so I could ask questions from people who have more experience with dolls and see how it goes and maybe do some other things in Doll Forum. I work nights and days, my work schedule is were hectic i work long hours and long Weeks. I decided to buy my self a doll to brighten up my days and nights. it's a nice feeling when someone is waiting you. I'm planning to buy here nice clothes and accessories and maybe do little cosplays with here also i can sew and i own a camera. on our first date we played some games on my consoles. we also watch some anime and we had pizza and beer. She has been nice to sleep with, on lewd stuff but not with out some hiccups. I decided to buy my doll from Silicone Lovers and my darling is custom Siliko 160 L cup doll. Sorry if this isn't much an introduction but I'm little bit in hurry.

Like many others, I've been lurking around this site gathering info in preparation of purchasing my first doll. I'm getting real close to taking the plunge and have narrowed my interests down to a few select 6ye dolls, specifically the 158a, 160d, and 165b. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can so that I can avoid any stupid rookie mistakes. The recommended vendors section has already been a huge help! And I'm paying more attention to things that I would have probably overlooked, like weight, had other forum members not discussed it. So, thank you!

As for me, there's not much to tell. I'm attracted to 20-somethings, but being in my 40's, I can't really make that happen any more. I haven't been on a date since pre-Covid and frankly, I'm not really interested in that at the moment. However, I still have needs and porn is starting to get rather stale so I'm looking for ways to spice things up a bit. I read about a massive uptick in sex doll sales during the pandemic and started exploring the idea of getting one for myself. I'm a little turned-off by the cost, if I'm honest, and it was while trying to learn as much as I can about sex dolls that I happened upon this fine forum.

I'm sure that I'll have some questions that I'll be asking before/after my purchase. But in the meantime, a big thanks to TDF and all of its contributors and sponsors!

I have been reading the forum for a long time, before and after buying the doll. I decided to write only now. Before that, I communicated only on the Russian doll forum. The story of buying my first doll is probably sad. I looked at these "products" for a long time, but at that time the price was off the charts. I ended a relationship with a living girlfriend more than 2 years ago, but no one has been found yet. And earlier this year, I lost my mom. It was a colossal blow to my psyche, I almost had a heart attack. Thanks to my friends who supported me in bad time.
And at that moment I decided to buy a doll. I didn`t know if it fit me, so I bought cheaper doll on Aliexpress, having seen there photos from WMDoll

)). Then it turned out that it was just an imitation of an expensive doll. But I did not understand at that moment. I ordered a height of 165 and the head is similar to #56 WM. While she was coming to me I bought all sorts of clothes for her and realized that I want to do photography again!!! That was the positive aspect of it. When she arrived.....it was cool in general )))) After a couple of days with her, my heart attacks disappeared. And that was a win! But after a couple of weeks, the doll's back broke.I read the forum how to repair and put her on her feet, bought all the necessary equipment, reviewed Mishka's videos on TPE repair and makeup. My doll's name is Alena, I bought my second doll from Irontechdoll, she is still on the way (thanks Winnie and Panther68

, because it is addictive, and I think to buy another body for Alena, because I do not like the current one in quality. I want to learn how to properly photograph these beautiful female curves ))
Somehow, thanks that there is such a society as TDF, as in Russia the doll culture is not especially developed, imho.
