Hi again TDF,

I would like to re introduce Lexi....

She is one of the first BT3 Clestials that came with all the gel implant upgrades......

Anyhow Lilly and I are Lexi's third family and clearly she has been Partying very hard as has some ware and tare..but "we have the technology and we can rebuild her"

Went into the deal eyes open and knew what we were getting in for...and excited to see how my skills restoring showcars, building models and figuirines would translate...(this is also the part where I thank TDF guys like Muz and Playtime for their help with silicone repair).

Now she is a stuuning little gal so will post her refurbishment post by post...see attachmnets below...

First job was overhauling neck joint and bearings, sanitising the girly bits and repairing the tears in Vajayjay and Anooos....so far we have got the foundationation bonds in place and will cap and tint when the Abyss rep kit arrives....enough chat...here are the pics....

So the bedroom is looking like a doll repair shop ATM...Lilly is getting some repairs done and made sense to get a start on Lexi while the Gooo was fresh.....

SO the Lexi challenge....

While the goo was getting ready...overhauled the neck bearings so now have both upper and lower bearings with spacers to ensure ticght but free movement...working now on the flesh, falanges and the sugar shaker...definately getting the plastic surgoen buzz ATM...so much less fiddly than car electronics and figurines....

So moving along..these pics are of Lexi set up with the first repairs...I use core runs or root runs in welding terms to get the intial structual bond set and povide a core for me to rework and finish with the appropriately tinted top compound....

I use silicone based steri strips to form the intial binding moulds..and the occasional band aid hi stregnth helps to re-inforce for the intial 24 hour cure time.....

...you are so gentle with her that it turned me on......GRRRRRRRRRR

......I am feeling so frustrated that I am in traction for fixes ATM and can not just pounce on you both...I am glad that you are stilll awaiting her girl bits or I may get a bit possessive........NAH...I would join the mix..something to think about Hellboy...... when you are considering who is the Teddy Bear

I am writing on behalf of RS as he is still a little dusty from all the cans he...lets just say inhaled...last night while working on us....

So very many thanks for the interest and support for Lexi as she is made over like new.....I think RS got some pix but we will see if they are in focus...LOL..when he posts them..Luv and Devil Kisses...Lilly

Great to see someone taking the time to do some careful repairs to a most beautiful doll!

Such a shame she ended up this way in the first place and it breaks the heart to see a beautiful doll that has been handled in a rough manner! These dolls need to be handled gently with love and care!

Looks like you are doing a great job so far on Lexi and I can't wait to see her when she is all healed up from her operations my friend!

Thanks for the support everyone...but in reality she has had two ex BFs

so is bound to be carrying some baggage and scars....do not we all

..still licking my wounds from the EX wifes 20 yrs of distruction

...anyhow...on to happy thoughts......

As Lilith hinted at above.... we had a late night and a few too many cans :drinking:

working on Lexi last night..so today was a bit slow out the gate but made solid progress during breaks in the cricket.....Ozzies reign supreme again...

SO I will now drop in some updates of progress made...these first ones are from last nights efforts..most are in focus.....
