Greetings,

I wanted to use the [spoiler] tag, to collapse some text, but it seems it isn't enabled. And when I tried to open the faq for available code (http://dollforum.com/forum/faq.php?mode=bbcode) it showed there are no FAQ-files.

Is there a reason it's disabled? Can it be enabled?

The spoiler tag isn't disabled, it simply doesn't exist, as we never found a need to use it.
If I wanted to "hide" something, I'd do it like this:

"This is a spoiler!"
Triple-click to view

If there are more members who would like to see the spoiler tags to collapse a piece of text, we'd be willing to look into it.

What if I want to use spoiler tag for a picture which I consider really graphic? (like fixing a doll or it's anatomy)

Of course I could upload it to some image site and post a link, but due to the nature of these photos, I would prefer to upload them here.

You can use urlmature tag and explain what it is.

The URLmature tag doesn't work with attachments, it only works with linked pictures, so you'll have to upload the pictures elsewhere.
You could upload doll-repair pictures to the Doll Album (after registering), and keep the gallery "Me Only", and then link to the pics with the URLmature tags.

As you can see above, I uploaded it here on TDF, copy pasted the link in preview mode to the URLmature tag, without ever posting the picture as attachment.

So my question is, does http://dollforum.com/forum/download/fil ... &mode=view remain here and accessible, despite not being posted as attachment (=only link).

The gallery option sounds doable as well, thanks for that.

When you click on it, you get "The selected attachment does not exist anymore", so no, that doesn't work

The picture gets canned if it's not actually added to the post.

I can't find any tag for Spoiler or Hide Text functionalities, neither does the manual [Spoiler][/Spoiler] tag seem to work, I've tried the urlmature Tag but it doesn't hide the text either

Yes the spoiler tag feature is usually a must have in any forum.

I support the idea of spoiler tags, to save space and help with the readability of discussion threads involving lots of text/image/video content.

IMHO it would be so nice, especially for when people quote entire posts of pics just to make a reply.
