Thanks GG.. yes it certainly has been terrible here. Thousands of homes have been lost in fires not to mention loss of wildlife and people.
I have been very lucky. I have seen a few water bombing helicopters hovering nearby because I live close to water but there's been no fires anywhere near my place. The weather is actually very very mild for this week where I live to so that's a big help. Let's hope things will improve rapidly and people's attitudes towards starting fires will also change in this new year.
