It was time to put new sheets on the bed, but Jeanne just asked me "must I?" So it took some time to get things done.
Just when we were half through the job, she decided to sit on the edge and watch me. In return I decided to take out the camera

After a while I convinced them and myself to go on with the work at hand and we finally got new sheets on the bed and Jeanne was really tired.

Some things I experienced during that shot. Jeannes varies strongly with the angle. Viewed from a higher angle her face is slightly triangular and sleek. Straight on it is longish oval and very pleasing. From a lower angle it gets more and more rounded. Never realized that before. And another thing - combing her hair was very calming for me. I sat there for almost 20 minutes even after the wig was well combed and continued on and on. That was very relaxing (after the knots and tangles were gone)

Poppy, I'm still very impressed with the make-up job you've done. There may be many dolls with the same configuration as Jeanne, but there are no dolls that look like her. And she is beautiful!

On a related note, sometimes there is a deeper story that unfolds with a doll and her partner. This is true with you and Jeanne. Your story over time with ups and downs gives a real presence to Jeanne, a feeling that she is more than meets the eye. Every time I see Jeanne I am reminded of things past, but I wonder what is new in her life. It is rare for dolls to become something more than what we commonly see. I wish you both all the best.

@Erika: yes you are right, my bed and nightstand is from the big swedish furniture company. I am planning to lift it, to have a nice hiding space below the bed and a better sitting position when standing up.
