Today we welcome the last member to join the family: the long-awaited, much fantasized of, the BBW of my dream and a masterpiece, a dream come true, Jewel! my custom Textile!

As in the case of Riza, my first love, I'll be doing a running diary rather than a proper review- since...well, I have no idea how to take review worthy photos, being totally blind and thus can't review my shots. So, come on this journey with Jewel and I!

Note to those who read my Cammy diary. Alot of the preamble stuffs are the same, so feel free to skip a few paragraphs forward if it bores you!

Preamble:

After spending a few months with my 140 CM Riza, I realized several things:

1: Dolls are totally for me. They are saving my sexless relationship and saving me money since I no longer have to rely on escorts for my powerful sexdrive.

Obviously, fabric dolls can go places where a silicone or TPE doll can't- being lighter by nature, the shapes can be larger, more plump, and there is the added bonus of the cuddle factor. That really got my attention. I tried to sleep with Riza, but after a bit had to give it up as a bad job. The TPE smell, though faded, is still not very pleasant in bed- not to mention, the cat hates her in bed lol. TPE dolls also can be quite cold, so during the colder months here in Canada, the last thing I want in my bed is a freezing doll I can brush up against when I roll over! Trying to reposition a heavy doll in bed when cuddling/sleeping can also be a bit of a pain. All these issues can be solved by a fabric doll.

But but...

Being blind, my sense of touch is the most important, so how would a fabric doll match up to what's needed to arouse me? What do they feel like? Are they like oversized teddy bears? Or human shaped pillows? The more I tried to imagine them, the more I was convinced that I was going to spend hundreds of $$$ just to be disappointed.

Hmmmmmm, it turned out that I could spend the price of one TPE doll, but get two fabric dolls in the bargan... ***BLING*** lightbulb went on in my head.

While I was researching Dagmar, Textile doll also came under my radar. The reviews looks very positive, So I reached out to Textile and made some inquaries. The end result was that I could get a Dagmar from BD, and a custom doll from Textile, and it'd work out to roughly the cost of a YL 160.

...SOLD!

Thus, the ponderous wheel of ordering, waiting, fantasizing, regreting, hoping, waiting, doubting, and more waiting started turning...

The order for Jewel was placed at around July 25th, and she arrived today- September 14th- alot faster than I thought it'd take! When I talked to Yuri, I explained that I was blind and that picking colors and looks via images could be difficult, but I knew what I wanted. I directed him to photos of April Flores- my favorite BBW pornstar, and asked if he could make a doll like her. I was fully prepared for him to say no because of her large proportions, but he was up for the challenge!

Yuri's response time was very fast and very friendly. We shot a few emails back and forth before I was officially on the waiting list.

Aug. 15th, Yuri told me my turn was up and he could start working on my girl. I sent him the $50 EURO deposit, and the game was at foot!

This was a hard time for me, but exciting too. My family was going through some hardship, I was stressed out, and waiting for two dolls was...painful! to say the least... To be honest, I didn't expect to hear from Yuri again till at least October- going by other reviews on how long it'd take to make these dolls, but by Sep. 5th, he said my BBW was ready!

Quickly I sent the rest of the payment, I think was $930 EURO, and Jewel started her long journey to Canada a few days later.

It was around this time when Cammy showed up at my door, so I was lucky to have her to distract me while waiting for Jewel to arrive. Speaking of waiting, it was agonizing! The tracking thing didn't update for 5 days after showing that Jewel had left originating country. I almost thought she was lost. And on top of that, I wasn't sure what kind of custom fee and shipping handling charges I'd get nailed with at the door. For Cammy, despite the free shipping, I had to pay over $100 to receive her!!! Today, as I was working from my home studeo, my door bell rang, and, like a jack rabit on steroid being chased by a pack of hounds, I shot out of my chair, sprinted to the door in under 2 seconds (it seemed) and, there was my favorite mailman (at this point any mailman would be my favorite), with a massive box.

"You owe $14 for this," he said.

"Huh?" I feared I heard him wrong...wtf?

"The package, there's a fee of $14," he repeated.

"Uh, really? Only $14?" god I sounded stupid. "Sure! Let me go grab my wallet!"

(To all other doll companies... Look, free shipping is nice, but it's not "free shipping" if we have to get nailed for $100 on our end of the delivery. If a small company like Textile can manage it so I only got nailed with $14- for a doll that cost over $1200, I think all other companies got something to learn from Textile!)

The jack rabit on steroid bounced back into the house, found my wallet in record time, came out with the money already counted and ready. "Here you go... Thanks, have a good day!" and back we went, sprinting back into the house carrying this box that was almost half my size but weighed no more than a laptop.

Having been prepared by Dagmar, the texture didn't surprise me and I almost felt like a pro getting Jewel out of the box and ready. First thing that struck me was how skilled Yuri must be to create such a perfect BBW. She's softer and lighter than Dagmar, but we'll do a proper comparison post later.

Texture * * * *

Texturewise, the best I can describe it is she feels like a person who's intire body is covered in bodystocking. One reviewer mentioned that she feels like what a person's thighs feels like in silk stockings, and that is very accurate. She's also extremely squeezeable and feels very warm and cuddly- everything a true BBW would be.

Firmness * * * * *

Her limbs are the most realistic in terms of firmness. Squeezing her legs and arms you can feel the bones inside. The breasts are actually softer than both Riza and Cammy's, and they are big and lovely, though texturewise, Cammy's bouncy, silicone filled breasts feel a tad better. The butt is massive and soft, two glorious mounds waiting to be squeezed. The head is the only gripe I have with this doll. It is hard, like a mannequin head, but I knew this flaw going into this purchase so... The torso is softer than what a human's would be, you would have to squeeze her very hard to feel the skeleton inside. Hands and feets are quite realistic, and the toes and fingers all move individually. The fingers and toes don't feel quite as tough as Cammy's blocky digits, but are a sure step up from the weak-sauce ones TPE dolls got. The breasts have nice pronounced nipples that definitely add to the arousal factor.

Assembly * * * *

Getting the head on is very easy, just slip the neck portion into the head. There are velcros inside to hold the head securely to the neck. Speaking of which, there are velcros holding the wig onto the head too- a definite trick other makers should copy to prevent awkward "mood killing moments" mid-sex when you suddenly realize your doll's gone bald. She doesn't come with a TPE insert, so you must supply your own. After having practiced with Cammy, I'm now very good at installing the inserts!

Realism: * * * * *

Holding her in my lap, taking photos with her, it's hard to forget she's not real. Though her details aren't as realistic as a TPE doll, the character and warmth you can get from a doll like this is amazing. The vibe, not the bzzzzzzz type, is really there. Throw her arm across your shoulder and get your arm around her waist, and you'd know what I mean. That aside, some of the details are really good while some are lacking. The hands and feet have nails glued on- I hope they won't fall off like ones on TPE dolls. The knees have kneecaps, making them alot more realistic looking and feeling than some other fabric dolls'. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about her elbows- there's almost no elbow definition to speak of. Like most fabric dolls, her skins will bunch and wrinkle when you bend her joints, so you have to take time to smooth things over after posing her. Yuri has really done wonders with most of the details- there's collarbones, ribcage, the roll of fat on her belly, the thick thighs, and even her lower legs have a muscle tone to them that makes them appear quite sexy. The pronounced nipples and bellybutton are very nice touches. Her wrists and hands and feet also have great shapes and definitions to them. In fact her shape reminds me so much of one of my all-time favorite escort ladies, Evelyn, that I almost named her that. I think if there's one thing I really really wish can be added is the silicone-implant used on Dagmar and the new Anime fabric dolls. The silicone would really bring this masterpiece to a whole new level, adding realistic bounce to the breast, thighs and butt while also giving her a bit more weight. The neck also seems a tad too scrawny for such a well padded lady. I also find that the insert ruins the realism a bit. Even all the way in, it pooches out more than what normal pussies do, making her appear a bit weird in g-strings. Her pubic hair patch sits a bit too high on her mound too.

Weight * * *

She's too light. I know for some people it's a plus, but I find that for such a large lady, she is really too light- less than 20 pounds I figure. I would like to see an option to add a bit of weight to these dolls. A few well hidden ankle weights inside the body would do the trick. When they're light like this, it's hard to get some sexual positions working properly.

Articulation * * * * *

She's so well articulated that she can do pretty much any pose a woman of this stature can- and more. I would even say she's probably more articulated than alot of TPE dolls out there. Of course with this much flesh on her, the articulations suffer a bit- some poses are just not going to work, but hey, that'd be the case for a real BBW too. One complain I have here is that the joints and skeleton seem kind of weak. I hope they don't loosen and snap as time goes by, but she feels actually kind of springy/floppy- her arms aren't stiff enough to support her in doggy. You can even adjust her eyes via levers inside her head!

Price * * * * *

Yuri has come through, fulfilled my BBW fantasy and more. For the price, you get to customize your doll, get an unique, hand-made lady, not to mention, the friendly and awesome customer service and, lets not forget that awesome break on shipping and custom charges. And only $50 EURO up front too!

Sex * * * *

I haven't done it yet so I will give more details later, but here are a few things in that department. Personally I already know she won't turn me on as much as Riza simply because she feels "dressed" all the time. Although, now that I'm experienced somewhat with Cammy, I think it won't be as awkward. The fabric nature of the doll does kill a bit of the joy of dressing her in sexy garments. When I put a pair of panties on Riza, there's a clear distinction wear the silk stops and skins start. But with Jewel, like I said, just feels she's "dressed" through and through. If I can overcome that, and I'm sure I will, the sex should be fantastic with her lighter weight, larger proportions, and bouncy nature. As another reviewer mentioned, her insert port is a bit low to be realistic, so we'll see if that creates any problem during sex.

Suggestions to the maker:

Not sure if Yuri will read this, but here are a few suggestions:

-A soft head option would be real nice to have with these dolls.

-Silicone implants to breasts, butt and thighs would bring these dolls to a whole new level of awesomeness.

-Stronger joint/skeleton structure would be nice- so the doll wouldn't be so...limp.

-Either have to move the vagina up higher, or the pubic patch lower.

-The elbows can use a bit more work to be more defined.

-Personally I wouldn't mind her to be slightly heavier, maybe 10 pounds more.

-A bit more muscles details on the arms would really improve her feel.

I don't know if anyone else asked this question, but it was a question that haunted me constantly during the early stages of decision making... Dagmar versus Textile... Which one's better? So since I got both, I'll give you my opinion on it. We'll break it up into catagories. Keep in mind, these are strictly opinions of a totally blind doll newbie.

Head:

Neither can give head worth a damn... Oh wait, I meant actual heads... IMO Dagmar takes the cake in this area. You get to choose TPE or regular head with Dagmar. Textile on the other hand, offers only hard head option.
With that said, Textile's head seems to stay on better, the eyes can be easily adjusted, and the wig stays on real good. It's a close match, but the kissability of Dagmar heads win out in the end.

Joints/construction:

No contest here. Dagmar dolls can't cross their legs or arms. Their bodies can't maintain poses with their springy torso joints. Textile on the other hand, can pull off almost any pose you put her to. The only real saving grace for Dagmar in this case is the strong joint/skeleton construction that allows them to hold some poses better.

Sculpt:

Another no contest. The attentions to details on the Textile make her nearly unbeatable in this area. Dagmar's blocky feet and hands, lack of ribcage and limbs definitions really lose points here. Textile's going to win on nipples alone lol! Dagmar has a slight edge on how the neck looks- the neck on Textile looks too scrawny.

Texture/feel:

Both are very close in this area, however, Dagmar edges Textile out with bouncier breasts and butt, and soft kisses. Textile is not far behind though. She is softer, stitched better, and there's no distracting zipper down her spine. Textile also has a better hand-holding factor, with realistic nails on her hands and feet.

Smell:

Dagmar came out of the box smelling like a new car- not bad, but not arousing either. Textile on the other hand, smelled perfumy and yummy. Whatever Yuri did there to make this happen was a masterful stroke.

Weight:

If you like them light, then Textile wins hands down. If you're like me who like a bit of heft, then Dagmar takes this one- weighing almost twice the Textile.

Sex:

Dagmar came with a TPE insert that, though not ideal, at least allow you to get it on with her right away. Her insert port is also placed more realistically. Textile on the other hand, the insert port's too low/far back, there's no TPE insert. I think Dagmar wins in this area. The Dagmar insert does fit Textile however, and it has both vaginal and anal entries.

Size:

Textile can be whatever size you want her to be- within reason of course. Dagmar is no slouch in this department though however. Dag is taller, and built like a curvy, strong woman. I'd say it's a tie in this area.

Cost/worth:

Dagmar was a bit cheaper, however, it cost way more to receive that shipment than Textile. Considering how customizable a Textile is, coupled with reasonable shipping and custom fee handling, the win goes to Textile. It's not a large difference however.

In the end, if you been keeping track of points, they come out even. I say either one is a fantastic choice, and one can't go wrong with either one of these fine offerings.

Wow, I was totally expecting the first night, and the one after, to be somewhat like my first few nights with Cammy, my Dagmar, but...

Lets just say my first night with Cammy was not about fun but more about "I can do this shit!" Hours of trying, repositioning, losing it, getting it back, repeat...

But with Jewel, it was a completely different story. Keep in mind, it's quite possible that it was this good because of a combination of facts:

It is very distracting. The face is beautifully formed, and then you forget and lean in to kiss her in the middle of the night and it's hard and cold. To me that is the largest issue with Textile that may definitely be a dealbreaker for some.
I am going to see if my Cammy's head will fit on Jewel's body, but I doubt it- Jewel's neck seems thinner than Cammy's and much much longer. Cammy's head ain't perfect either- the TPE used is way too firm as I mentioned in Cammy's diary.

Guess I'm stuck with the hard face and head for now till further inspirations.
