By the way: I wanted to thank you.

Some weeks ago I came across textile dolls by accident. I was looking for a new doll and saw those dolls. I always thought fabric dolls are big plushy teddy bears (Like teddy babes). So I Never made any efforts to look at fabric dolls in detail.

Last year I bought a TPE doll. And well, I was quite disappointed. Too heavy, to stiff, to cold. Not good for cuddling. After two months trying I tucked her away for good. I gave up dolls for then. But not completely. Sometimes when I felt lonely I looked in this forum again. And was wondering: Is there a way? Maybe a smaller doll? Or a torso?

But then I found out about Textile Dolls. I read your review of Jewel and came to the conclusion, that Textile Dolls might be a doll for me. They are light weight and cuddly. Luckily at the same time I saw a post of a German vendor in the market selling one doll that was from a canceled order. So she is not really the configuration I would prefer, but for this cheap price I didn’t care. So I bought her.

I received her Saturday. And I am really happy. This is how I envisioned to have a doll. She is the best to cuddle and I enjoyed every last morning, when I wake up and can cuddle with her for some minutes before getting up.

But kind of sad, that I still have that TPE doll. What a waste. If I had known earlier...

Well whatever. Thank you for this review. Your descriptions of Jewel really resonated with me. You gave me the confidence to give dolls a second try.

I'm so glad you found the review and it helped! Textile dolls are wonderful to cuddel with yet realistic enough so it's not too much like a teddybear.
You can try to sell that TPE doll on the forum here if you don't want her any mroe- I'm sure someone will give her a nice home when/if the price is right.
For cuddeling, TPE dolls are just not that good- especial in cold weather. I'll say taht my TPE ladies are awesome to cuddel in the summer time lol.

It's been a long time but Jewel is back! Last five months my lady love from California was here visiting me in Canada, so needless to say, my girls saw very little of me

Before she left, she helped me tidy up Jewel's hair and we put her outfit on Jewel for these photos!

Your Jewel is wonderful, her body is so organic and realistic in the poses that she assumes even in relaxation, such as when she is kneeling and with her head tilted. It is amazing how realistic a fabric doll can be despite the limitations of the material it is made of. Soon I too should receive my Textile Doll, I can't wait!

Thanks so much! Yeah Jewel is wonderfully made. Textile dolls do have their limitations, but here in Canada where winter is really cold, these fabric dolls are so much better to cuddle with than TPE ladies!

A quick change of clothes, and some more new photos of my beautiful, chunky lady. It is really during the winter months when the strength of these Textile dolls can really be appreciated. They are warm, cuddly, and just a joy to have in your bed in winter time.
