Thank you so very much, Lone and Nes. Totally unexpected! My mother went into the hospital about two and a half months ago with some kidney and heart issues along with a little bit of dementia. That fast her dementia accelerated to the final stages to the point she was unconscious. We put her on morphine Thursday, she was very comfortable when she passed away.

irish, i'm so sorry to hear this. I've lost both parents to cancer, and some folks very dear to me. I hate the word cancer! keep fighting! we'll all pull for you at the forum! you have friends here! lots of them!

I've been away from this thread for so long. SO sorry to hear the bad news. I lost my Dad last year after a long illness. It wasn't even the sickness that killed him, it was the long term exposure to the medication that caused his liver to fail. I empathize with your loss.

shadow66, sorry to hear that. I appreciate the kindness. I do try and enter a contest or two to cheer me up but my eyes get blurry at times and that is why I don't type a lot lately. So forgive my short reply. IG :BIG:

dolldaddy, I'm very sorry about your dad. You saying about the fact that the medicine makes you sicker than the actual sickness. It's why I'm in limbo right now. ty for caring and your kind heart!

yes it does indeed Kim, keep in there, Spinach (fresh and steamed - not boiled, marinated in mint sauce, served on mash potato) can be a reliable tummy settler, and give the body needed pep.

Also the other green herb, smoked and inhaled is decent for the nausea and the feeling of nerves frying. Ask the OC about prescription....even as incense!

...and never give up!

Awe you all are awesome. Need this more than ever.... I'm a bit down today after seeing my OC...

Cancer came back and it's now in both lungs and very aggressive. Saw the CT scan. I'm devastated to say the least. I can't blame anyone for this since I don't let go of bad habits and poor choices. I am trying but have given in, or up a bit.. I have other issues too, so it's juggling a lot. I am going to make a choice or two in the next few days. One of my concerns are that the chemo that I am supposed to start Monday, has a new chemical in it that has severe side effects.. That alone could cause me to die. What are my choices here. I'm told if I don't do chemo within a month, I no longer will be able to be treated... I'm never going to be cured , just treated. basically just prolonging my life....My biggest fear is leaving tongue and the girls. Sorry if this is all over the place, but this has been a long 3 days. Damn, I was doing ok, keeping a stiff upper lip and just started bawling my eyes out when I saw Lexi as your Guardian Angel.

You know how much we all love the both of you.
