Oh yeah, I didn't notice the "scales." Especially in this picture: https://www.dollforum.com/forum/downloa ... &mode=view. With her legs pressed together and her ankles crossed it almost looks like a flipper, haha. She's definitely got a trippy mermaid thing going on. I don't know how I missed it.

I know we've come to the conclusion that all the Teddybabes are the same skin tone but doesn't Jasmine look a bit darker in the photos?

Love, love, LOVE the purple mermaid leggings. I've been a fangirl for mermaids ever since I was a kid. They will always have a place in my heart.

To answer your question, yes, Jasmine does look slightly darker than the others. Her skin reminds me of Nia Jax. Which is why I she's caught my eye lol.

Maybe I should email EW just to make sure... I've been told they are all the same skin tone so I don't want to get ahead of myself and assume she is, I'll find out and let y'all know for sure...

It would be great to know for sure. I've been looking at the Jasmine model and I do think she's a tad bit more tan than the rest.

Well fiddleshit.

There used to be a dark skinned model. I saw her in the Doll Matrix. She's gorgeous! They really should make Teddy Babes in dark skin. I'd bet that people would want them. (I certainly would).

Diana, but she was only available in the standard, not deluxe. Something about the smoother plush they use in the deluxe they couldn't get in that color. For awhile she was discontinued in the standard line too as they couldn't get that color or something, but later she came back.

I did however ask them if they plan on bringing back the darker skin toned doll, also asked if they had plans on making dolls in slightly varied skin tones, never received an answer so I guess I'm still waiting on that. This alone will impact my decision to buy another Teddybabe. I don't want a bunch of dolls that look exactly the same especially skin tone, only differing by the color of their eyes and hair. To me that would be kinda silly. So I'm hoping they do at least bring back the Rasta lady....
