I wouldn't know, this thread is about making a Mohair merkin using PVA glue. No additional fabric required.

Love this guide. Thank you very much.
What brand of mohair yarn do you use Mr Fraz? Can barely identify it in the photos.

Mohair is mohair, just got the cheapest skein listed on eBay. No idea the brand. The label is written in Chinese!

Excellent work Mr. Franz! You're so clever!

Now, remove the cardboard templet and carefully press your clumps of Mohair fuzz into the glue, working from the bottom up. Be very careful not to get any glue on the top surface of the Mohair.

Continue until the entire surface is covered and gently pat down.

Your finished Merkin should look like this from the back.

Let dry until the glue is completely transparent like this.
DSC00357.JPG
Once the glue has dried completly, very carefully peel the Merkin from the plastic.

Trim as needed and your Merkin is now ready to apply.
DSC00361.JPG
Clean the area where the Merkin will be applied with a warm damp cloth.

Apply a thin layer of white glue to the back of the Merkin and smooth out evenly.

This is such a great tutorial DIY!! I haven’t received my doll yet :( but I fully plan on adding home made pubic hair!! You make it look so easy!

Thanks, Djcypher1! It's not hard to do, but does require a bit of patience. Best part is, it's easy to remove if you don't like the results or just want to change it. Also, you do need to protect it when cleaning or applying baby oil. I usually just put my hand over the area and wipe around it. Easy enough to reattach if it comes loose though.

Pardon me, Mr. Franz, but who/what is Veronica? She's amazing! Unless my senses have been hoodwinked, she doesn't look like any plush of which I'm currently aware--i.e., Teddy Babe, Textile, Valentina etc . . . Oh wait--Edit: Does she have a Valentina "Real Head" option?

That's Veronica. She's a Meiki Evo Plush. Here's her story: viewtopic.php?f=87&t=136087
