Thank you. That is an old 2.7x blender. Blender is at 3.3 or 3.5 now. I made a better one and posted it somewhere else, another one of the build-a-doll posts and it's just a newer version of the same tool.

I've always wanted to use this program and do some creations myself, but it has been a couple years since I looked into it.
I'm assuming it works much like daz3d studio where you have to first purchase a base " model " to sculpt before any customizing can be done? Or is blender much easier than that?

The software interface has changed again with 2.8 but it's mostly the same. If you use dynamic topology when sculpting you'll have slightly more freedom so long as you don't crank it up too high. It's a toss up between subdiv modifier and dynamic topology really. It's easiest to do it the way you describe assuming you want some fake cellulite, fleshy wrinkles, skin pores, inhuman anthropomorphic features, and a good LHP. Oh, and you have a sense of the innards of the doll. Otherwise, you could probably just design one in daz3D and that'll be it.
