yeah, ebony black appreciation thread guided me here. In fact the JY 148 was among choices for my first doll last year, so it´s quite interesting to see her in black (or dark brown) now.

Introducing Aisha! hope you enjoy the initial photoshoot in the shower! she's just getting ready for more,
hopefully i can do a full review for all after a couple shoots,
the head is JY #185
Wig is Jarliet "Ice" straight black
Eyes are Jarliet "Brown" eyes
I removed JY factory lipstick as it was too colorful, and nipples are added black foundation, as JY's factory was too light to my taste.

Congrats and good work to make Aisha look that nice of a ebony gal! Well done and as usual highly necessary recoloring as well. Her dark skin looks fairly natural unpowdered so way to go obviously. As further investment MF´s eyes and lids might be a good investment, as would be a HQ lace front wig. Anyway, looking forward to more of her oncoming photo sets.

Amazon, various brands at range between 40 to 100 $ usually, with human hair wig beeing the more expensive off course. Synthetics is kanekalon and lace front. Almost no hair shedding and well suited for bed time uses. But lace fronts got to fit accurately, so knowing exact doll head size is of major importance before ordering. Otherwise I´d avoid lace front if there´s no intention for further hair styling (visible hairlines) and such.

The skin tone is very appealing on this doll. I’ve seen some that have have pale dark skin and doesn’t have a “natural” ebony look. I like my girls thick but she’s a slim beauty!
