using one of the many "keychain" clip-on tails for sale all over now that it's nearing Halloween. Or for an easily installed / removable tail, I've seen "butt plug" type tails available out there that could be used on a doll with a hole in the right spot. If you need the tail to be poseable, the wire you use for it is going to have to go a fair ways into the doll to support the weight and twisting forces applied to the tail. If you just need it to hang, that's easier.
