Arrival of my HA-165

Hello all

Since there is no section for Happy Doll, I post it under the vendor section, where I bought this doll. Hope this is OK.

So, here's my unboxing/review of a Happy Doll HA-165 „Dagmar“
Browsing several vendors, I realized, that there is another manufacturer of fabric dolls: Happy Doll. When I saw an offer in a forum for a used HA-165, I took the opportunity.
Alas, the doll was not in a very good condition: legs were bent and broken (mostly the joints, which I reinforced). The skin was stainy from the clothes. Hope, that I can finish my repair and modification report soon and can post it here.
But the doll fascinated me. So I ordered a new one from beautifuldolls.com

No problems with the ordering process and I got also some discount. Placed the order on 28th of April. On 16th of June I got the shipment notice, 13 days later was the delivery.
Since I already got a A1 head with the used doll, I decided to have the fabric/manga head with purple eyes.

Since I own some Teddy Babes Deluxe (2010 models), here the comparison/differences:
* metal skeleton instead of wire skeleton
* bigger hips
* hip joints

Watch out for the joints loosening up,mine arrived with a floppy leg and was told by beautiful dolls this was "normal" "there is oil in there"
Not normal and there is no oil either.
Just be aware the chassis in these dolls are not easy to repair.

Thank you so much for the review!

I've been considering getting a Happy Doll myself, but I've read multiple accounts of joint issues with them on the forum.
Apparently they upgraded their skeleton in the past year or so, but I haven't been able to find much info about Happy Dolls that were purchased after 2020 other than this review.

How is the skeleton holding up so far?
