Hi. New user, non-owner, curious potential buyer and could use some help on the authenticity of this all.
A little background, I've been looking and researching dolls for only a couple of weeks. I have learned quite a bit and learning more each day. For starters, the knock-offs/clones vs legitimate manufacturers somewhat reminds me of the aftermarket wheel scene. In both cases, you get what you pay for; however, like all things, a higher price tag does not always mean a better quality service/product. I'm hoping that Funwest is somewhat like the XXR Wheels of sex dolls in the sense that when they first started, their wheels were all replicas of brand models produced from the factory manufacturing their production line. Eventually they started creating models that were otherwise unavailable on the market. While the faces (of my XXR wheels) might look the same, the specs were different, and so was the wheel. It was not a knock off or replica, it was a one of a kind unique wheel. In reading Funwest's responses with starting on Aibei's factory line, this seems like an acceptable benefit of the doubt.. Just wondering if this could be a possibility or if this has already been dismissed or debunked somehow?
The reason I ask is because I haven't seen this topic continued past last month, and I haven't seen Lexie appear on this thread either. Currently, Funwest has two Lexie dolls on their site that currently have my interest, but my preference is the 162cm Lexie because with the featured Wig, she looks a LOT like my GTA Online character with face cybernetics from Cyberpunk. I really like this doll, and if this looks to be one of Funwest's first unique models, I'm even more curious, excited and intrigued..

As a first time shopper/buyer, my biggest concern is ordering something that looks good in marketing, but does not live up to expectations once it's out of the box. To eliminate this, I've been looking for personal pictures others have taken of their dolls, such as reddit, craigslist, and ofc here at TDF (thank you for those that shared). I've even reviewed a few different sex doll videos on an anonymous porn website I often frequent and found some that were of good quality and others that were very unrealistic or fake looking; like an adult's "my sized barbi". Unfortunately, I can't find these Lexie's outside of Funwest's marketing photos, so if these are actually Funwest's newest dolls, that could explain why I can't find much. In any case, I am wondering if these are unique Funwest dolls or if these dolls can be recognized from another brand's doll?
Finally, I looked at funwestdoll.com's wholesale page and found a reseller with better pricing. However, I am concerned/nervous about the customization options between the reseller (lovedoll.com) and Funwest's website. I feel like they're not on par or in sync with each other. Ex) yourdoll.com provides options for 2cm areolas and wants to up charge for wrist and finger skeleton.. meanwhile finger skeletons are not an option on funwest.com and 3cm is the smallest you can set areolas on Funwest.com. Also yourdoll.com appears they will throw in a free 2nd head where as funwest.com includes only the featured head from the doll purchased. Even with the up-charge from the features that may or may not be available for this brand & model, the reseller is a cheaper deal with more included.
Thanks for reading through all of this, hope I was easy to follow and track. To me, this looks like Funwest may be a reputable supplier with resellers that have acknowledged reputations?
