Wow US measurements are crazy, tell me your clothes purchases

I am trying to understand US woman's sizing or girls sizing... I am getting a WM 157B Gayle redhead, I thought I'd browse clothing on amazon and order some stuff for her to wear but I'm not sure I can figure out what size to order, it's crazy. My understanding is she's small enough that she might need girls clothes instead of woman's clothes, but then I run into choosing size based on age? Chest: 67cm / 26.37"
Waist: 48cm / 18.89"
Hips: 77cm / 30.31"

Then based on the sizing chart with this skirt: https://www.amazon.com/Childrens-Place- ... 01G16NBAC/ her isn't even on the chart and her hip is size 12. I do see by this skirts chart that age is listed but again the waist to hip doesn't work, so do I just go by the hip or a compromise between waist and hip or??

Look for size xxs in lingerie. For clothes..... an adolescent sz range of 5-7 is what I look for. Luckily..... I learned how to run a sewing machine decades ago so basic alterations are easy. The fallback approach is using saftey pins.

I do own a WM 157B......

Aeropostale is the best place to buy clothes for dolls. They have plenty of XXS and XS fashions.

Check out Summer’s thread in our signature. She is our 157B. I don't know what sort of clothes you want but if you see something you like, I can tell you what it is and where it came from.

SHEIN has lots of smaller sizes as well. Reasonably priced as well. Most is fairly good quality. And if it doesn't work out at least you are not out a bunch of cash.

buying things individually online can get pricey pretty fast unless you have a particular outfit/cosplay you want on your doll then go for it. otherwise i suggest finding a goodwill nearby and shop there if you can look for a goodwill clearance or outlet where you live they sell clothes by the pound around $1.50/lb. i wear a mask while shopping to hide my shame shopping for my doll lol but if i do get asked just say you sell clothes online when i go to the goodwill in my city dudes are lined up to try to find stuff to sell online when they bring out new bins of clothes. i got like 3 huge bags of clothes for like $40 and if the clothes dont fit or anything ill just go and find a goodwill donation box and drop it off problem solved.

I do enjoy thrifting when time permits, but I've gotten a ton of great xxs stuff from ThreadUp for cheap. Make sure and wait for a good sale. Everything I've received from them has looked absolutely brand new. Couldn't believe it.

I get a lot of stuff from swap.com. They sell mostly previously owned high end things dirt cheap. Luckily my gals have fairly proportional figures though, that correspond to manufacturer size charts.

No problem.
They run Flash Sales on stuff every day for different amounts of time. So check in periodically or daily at least. You can get up to 5 items off the flash sale items listed. But their other prices are fairly cheap. I have gotten 2 orders already form them. Some things are made cheap but I would say the majority is decent quality.
Just spend the time reading the reviews and you can piece together if its nice or not. And the type of material.
And if you order a larger amount over $169 you can use the 20% off coupon as well.
I just ordered again today. Usually gets to U.S. within about 6 days. Pretty fast too.

I should limit myself on how much that girl gets. lol

nemike, this should help you a bit. I carry a copy with me when I go into stores and look at clearance clothing.

Only once was a comment made about the clothing when I checked out, and I said these were for a friend who married a shy Asian woman, and he asked me to buy inexpensive cloths whenever i saw them and he would reimburse me for them. I do order underwear and sexy lingerie online, but regular clothing and size 5 shoes I buy.

I only ever buy second-hand clothes from thrift stores because:

1 They are inexpensive especially on sale days

2 I can see and feel the clothes and don’t have to guess

3 They have been pre-washed so there is little chance of staining

The purple blouse is a size 3x by Enlighten.

The lovely colorful one is an XL by K Jordan.
