My IL Doll ladies

Sherliyn ventured outside today as we had some better weather. Now one of the things I like about this IL160 bod is that so far clothing fits really well. It has a realistic under bust so the bra Sherilyn is wearing is a nice snug fit and the arms are long enough that I don't have to turn up the top at the wrist as is often the case.

Here's a few phone pics of my new IL160 after doing an initial wash and powder. This body has some nice detail around the abdomen along with a slightly deeper belly button so a piercing was in order! The waist is thicker than most of my gals and the arms have a decent length and thickness too so I haven't had to turn up the top I used at the wrist as is often the case. I got this bod from a UK vendor at a discount due to some mild transit damage, ie. compression of the breasts, however after a little air injected into the breast cavity the boobs have swiftly regained their shape. They have a firmer gel mix and fit perfectly into the bra I found! While I thought Sherilyn's head was a good fit on this bod I wasn't completely happy with the skin tone match so another head has just arrived in the same natural tone and I will be introducing her as soon as I've sorted her make up. Another thing worth mentioning is that this bod has a non threaded tube in the neck which is obviously designed to take a special neck bolt rather than the standard M16. There are 3 threaded lugs on the side of the tube that have adjustable screws designed to screw into any bolt fitted into the tube. I've ordered the appropriate screws and plan to use a threaded M16 bolt screwed into the head and then slotted into the tube, I would imagine once the screws are tightened up this will be a nice tight fit, probably better than the now common push fit bolt.

Received the M8 screws I needed for the neck connector in my new IL160 today, just in time to try a new head with this bod that's in the same natural skin tone. Once the 3 screws are tightened that M16 bolt is held nice and fast.

Here's the result, new gal Yasmin seems to be a good fit for this bod and the skin tone match is pretty close!

Must say that I'm rather happy with this combo for my latest gal Yasmin. The IL160 is a nice curvy bod and suits her perfectly, I can see she will be getting a lot of camera time! I tried her with a shorter wig for these....

Thanks! This bod is even more impressive when you consider I picked it up at a bargain price from a UK vendor with some mild shipping damage that I was soon able to fix! So Yasmin now has a nice curvy bod, with a very pattable bottom!

Hi, just checking... So this kind of connector's called M8?
I'm especially wondering because it seems that ildoll.com is down currently, and I may need to check if any suppliers uses the same connector if I can't get stuff from ildoll anymore...

Hi there, no it's the 3 threaded lugs that are an M8 thread. The main tube itself is non threaded and designed to accept a head bolt that could be specific to IL. I got this particular bod from a UK vendor at a big reduction due to some transit damage hence I got the bod without a head so had to work it out. I actually like this method as Yasmin's head is now on very firmly!

Thanks for this, it's really handy to see. I must try and get hold of one of those M16 bolts as this system is probably the most secure method of fitting a head that I've yet seen!

While lighting silicone can prove a little more challenging than tpe I've found the 2 silicone heads I have, like Hiromi here, can produce some interesting results that give a more realistic look to the skin. I have used a little touch of FaceApp here not to add a smile but to give a little more texture to her skin and because the silicone already has more visible detail I think the end result isn't too bad. I found the same thing with my Ava's head and she can look very realistic in some pics, the nearest I get to this detail with tpe is Amy, she has hard tpe for her implanted hair and can again look quite realistic in some pics. I guess at some point I'd like to get a few more silicone heads
