Apply Benzol peroxide 10% to the doll and let sit for 24 hours.

Stain removal

Re: Stain removal
Thats true if you believe Panter68 didn’t bother to wipe the doll down before he took the picture. Since he hasn’t posted whether or not the process caused skin damage it is a concern for me. I have some stains caused by the wig that I will test before I treat the visible parts of the body.averbeck70 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 9:19 amWhat damage are you referring to? I see some residual product on the later photos, but that's just a matter of wiping off with a damp cloth.

Re: Stain removal
Hey Tewhano, I didn't wipe down Ayumi when I took the photo. The acne cream did not cause any damage to her or to any of my other dolls. Agreed, on you testing on your gals head first. There have been some reports of acne cream causing pigmentation issues with certain dolls. Most from TPE blends from years ago. TPE blends have improved drastically over the last 6 years. What was recommended for maintenance back in 2017, we would laugh at in 2023. The thought of doing monthly oilings. With 31 dolls, it would be a full time job.Tewhano wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 1:39 pmThats true if you believe Panter68 didn’t bother to wipe the doll down before he took the picture. Re: Stain removal
This is the 1st time I stained a doll, thats what I get for not putting on a wig cap to shield against the black straps under the wig. I knew this would happen, but wanted to see how this works for myself.

Re: Stain removal
Thank you for your reply. I will test the cream on her scalp. Your post gives me some relief that it worked for you.
Thank you for the tip. I will try it later today. Takes 3 days!!! Good thing I have a second head. Would be weird hugging a headless body.
When you say it took 3 days do you mean you let it sit on the stain for 3 days or wiped it off after a day then re-applied it to sit for another day?

Re: Stain removal
I applied a bit more on the 2nd day since the cream was dried off. The stain was barley visible by that time, but visually knew it was working. 3rd day it was all gone.Tewhano wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 8:26 amThank you for your reply. Re: Stain removal
Thanks, I just applied the ointment a few hours ago. The stain on the ears is quite small and the ears are thin so it might not take as long.
